informal very okay <&>company name meeting right? mm what you said no milk for you <,,> no milk no milk yes yes <{><[>milk <[><.>h i've gone and left my diary at home which is most annoying <,> i think that was mainly because i was going to get it and the phone rang to tell me that my taxi was there by the time i answered it <&>noise i forgot that i was looking for my diary <,,><&>4 <&>1:00 one of my fears is losing my diary <{1><[1>and with what i've got in it but i REFUSE to make duplicates of it or get <.>a i cos i reckon that that's the stuff that um <,> er what do you call it stress is made of once you start duplicating your diary i think if it GOES then it'll <{2><[2>be a few hours stress while i try and recover what was in it and then <{3><[3>that's it <{4><[4>but i'm damned if i'm going to spend the rest of my life um writing everything out twice just in case i lose one <[1>yes <[2>there'll be a few hours of stress <[3>mm mm <[4>a few hours mm it's the thin end of the wedge <{><[>isn't it <[>it happened <{><[>to lana this year <[>yep okay she lost her diary? <{><[>yep <[>oh nightmare what nightmare country i tell you what i lost was my address book <,,> <{1><[1><.>o for overseas contacts that i've built up over about twelve years <,> so <{2><[2>some of them are still gone <[1>i've <[2>i i lost a er address book a few years ago and i've just lost contact with the people <{><[>in it because of it <[>yeah exactly i know the <{><[>people but i've got no idea what their address is <&>2:00 <[>overseas people mm it's a pity when that happens i lost touch with someone i'd been keeping in touch with for years sort of sporadically they probably think that you don't want to talk to them probably mm crossed you off the christmas card list i know <,> served me right okay we're ready for our round robin <{><[>laughs <[>almost <[>laughs you mean the formal part of the er just thanks catching up on where we're all up to okay <,,> i always thought it was called l a law well that's what it is laughs laughs you know that miriam got a <&>noise job at the college but not not in the school she applied for a job and got it in the reception area oh <{><[>good <[>of the college so she's quite pleased right mm word what's happened to the school <,> <&>3:00 um <{><[>i think we need to switch the tape off at this point others laugh <[>laughs <&>noise i can contain myself laughs just pause it for a moment clears throat where does it say pause <,> oh i just press that yep <&>tape paused okay that you know at the auction speaking <{><[>of the auction <[>when we got the spa pool cleared mhm tut i'll have to bucket it out i think <&>noise laughs <{><[>laughs <[>it sure is a mess <&>noise eh? mud <{><[>everywhere <[>oh my god not bucketing it out <{><[>laughs <[>yeah i've got to bucket it out you're incorrigible laughs don't tell me you'll discombobulate it <{><[>laughs <[>laughs <[>laughs <[>no just the spa pool's full of shit others laugh and they're shovelling it voc <{><[>right now <[>you <.>can it looks like it too doesn't it <{><[>mm <[>isn't it awful yeah it is okay <{><[>yeah right <[>well i was saying that at the auction you know that i <,> bought the bach choir yes voc i have organised for the NINEteenth of <&>4:00 december <,> at la felicita um for er the bach choir to sing at nine thirty <,,> and i'm er inviting friends and rellies to book themselves into la felicita and get themselves a table so that they can er be there seated ready to listen to the bach choir at whatever stage of their dining they choose to be by nine thirty and that <&>company name will be having their dinner we we will have our dinner <{1><[1>then so it probably means that we need to change our <&>company name meeting that we've got scheduled <,,> <&>noise <{2><[2>or maybe not change the meeting but change the <{3><[3>dinner <[1>mhm <[2>so the change <[3>change the dinner <{><[>yeah <[>look at the diary yep and that means that we and partners will sit at the <.>ta the same table yep so <{><[>this is <[>and we all pay for ourselves <,,> i i <{><[>think we'll probably reimburse OURselves <[>okay mm um but it'll just be a bit awkward if <&>5:00 mm you know <,> we only pay for us and don't pay for our partners so um which is what we agreed so if we just all fend for ourselves <{><[>on mm <[>okay so this is a an <&>company name dinner and we pick up our bits of the yeah <{><[>we <.>pay we pay for our food and drink and then <&>company name will probably reimburse <[>food yeah <{><[>word <[><&>company name mm otherwise it's embarrassing saying to a someone else at the table you have to pay for yours but this is yeah <{><[>hard <[>so we all just <{><[>yeah <[>that's right mm great how exciting yeah so i'm sending out a letter but this is your formal invitation thank you thank <{><[>you <[>and i'll book us in for seven is that all right <{><[>seven p m <[>mhm yeah yeah <,> okay it's seven p m on the nineteenth of DEcember <{><[>at la again seven <{1><[1>word too early in the <{2><[2>night <[1>matt is out of the country again <[2>oh is he yeah he goes <{><[>to the states on <.>the <[>yeah i reckon it is <&>6:00 nine <{><[>thirty <[>he's going home for <{><[>christmas <[>val <{><[>i reckon seven thirty <[>yeah seven thirty's fine yep yeah i think he goes on the fifteenth or something okay seven thirty on the NINEteenth of december <,,> and we're going to have the best table <,> right yeah of course and we'll be posting out a little <{><[>um did val tell you a sheet to <.>ev to anyone we know tell them just you just book in <[>mm mm and la <.>fecili felicita will tell you <{><[>sorry but you can't come at that time cos we've got too many then <,> the people just <[>mm but WE'RE THEY'RE not gonna do that no no YOU'RE not but others who want to go can just like anyone can <{><[>go <[>so that's how they say voc rather than saying it's closed for a private function oh they're not closing it they're not oh <{><[>right <[>no no <{1><[1>it's just public we all we're <{2><[2>doing you see it's over a month away <[1>right <[2>right yep <{><[>right <[>by getting the letter out now swallows <{><[>we're just telling our friends to get in first <[><.>s right i <{1><[1>mean is that voc voc voc <,> are you <.>g <.>you <.>b you will be booking all all of them i mean voc <{2><[2>word <[1>why <[2>no <{1><[1>word us to <{2><[2>word <[1>no no no no <[2>we're only booking <[2>so word <&>7:00 <{><[>yeah <[>yeah <[>yeah <{><[>yeah <[>yeah i was just thinking <{1><[1>of people like for example lana and <{2><[2><{3><[3>annie who would be VERY interested <[1>yeah <[2>tell them <[3>yeah yeah well we're inviting we're <{><[>sending one to them <[>but if you see them tell them tell anybody you know <{><[><.>t <[>yeah <{><[>yeah <[>now what's the name of that restaurant <.>h <.>h <{><[><.>how <[>LA felicita f e l i c f e l i c i t i <{><[>t a <[>a <[>i t a where's that <{><[>one <[>twenty two ghuznee <&>yawns is <{><[>that that new one <[>that's coughs yeah it's been there for a while now <{><[>mm <[>right at the back <{><[>oh at the bottom <[>but let's i just the bottom of marion street yeah <.>we <.>we're it the it thing is it's a public night <,> it's <{><[>a monday night <[>anybody can book in at the moment nobody's booked in for that night well let's <{><[><.>hope <[>the bach choir's on at nine thirty if anyone rings up today not even knowing about it they can still book in as <{><[>long as they don't talk during the bach choir bit <[>with with with well they'll be told when they book in that the bach choir's singing at nine thirty <{><[>so they'll know that <[>oh bonus <{><[>yeah <[>mm DAMN they'll <{1><[1>ring all THEIR <{2><[2>friends and say oh oh <[1>that's right <[2>laughs <{><[>that's right <[>well it's plenty of time we <.>w <{1><[1>we'll <{2><[2>get <[1>yep <[2>yes okay we'll get that out today <{1><[1><{2><[2>or tomorrow the letter and um voc because they have to stagger their meals they can't have everyone arriving at the same time <[1>mm <[2>i should <.>be okay <&>8:00 mm <.>the first in first served so those who ring up first will get the times they want but there's nothing to stop someone coming at nine thirty for supper either mm mm you know and listening and then having a bite to eat afterwards mm okay so that's <{><[>our the christmas dinner <[>and it's the BACH choir isn't it it's HALF <{><[>of the bach choir <[>yeah <,> how big is that sixteen to eighteen <{><[>people <[>sneezes <[>and how long are they singing for <{><[>excuse me <[>er about an hour they're going to have two readings humorous readings mm <{><[>oh <[>festive mm you know proper ceremonial christmas ceremonial things <{><[>and then what <[>no they're singing tis the season to spend money fa la la la la la la la la <{><[>wicked <[>AND they are um going to sing a couple of carols for us to sing along with oh <{><[>god <[>i said that <{1><[1>there were several people bursting to sing as <{2><[2>well and she she sounded <{3><[3>horrified laughs <{4><[4>laughs well <.>she she sounded a bit dubious really i mean wondering <[1>laughs <[2>on the top of old smoky <[3>laughs laughs <[4>did she thinking <&>9:00 what kind of singing did we have in mind you know she then asked me a whole barrage of questions laughs tell them that your dealing with <.>hazard <,> hazards and health um and also um maybe some team building work there <,> um i got some ongoing work with er internal affairs because um it's to do with c c's area er linton winthrop tut oh yeah i know linton contacted me and i'm having a two hour meeting with them i think in december with just the managers like her and c c and so on that management level to look at what would make good management training for them <{1><[1>so it's really just to discuss what would make good <,> management <{2><[2>training <[1>great <[2>so that's head office <&>11:00 well i think so it would it's those senior managers like c c in the central region and linton in the southern region <&>11:05
