oh <,> oh <.>he he'd been working at the house but it'd rained so much <,> <.>he <.>hi their weather down in christchurch yesterday was VERY <&>8:00 much like ours <,> here hot and sunny no it was hot and sunny the last few days and then <{><[>last night yes <,> he said about one oclock that wind came up cos i actually rang raelene and i said to her look raelene <,> is it windy at your place i've NEVER rung her before over wind but i said i've just had a REAL fright i was sure there was somebody banging at my door or there was trouble in the street <,> and i got up calling out who's there who's there laughs in a timid voice and er i went out and i put the light on to see nobody outside and the <.>w <.>w wind was REALLY rattling the door <[>and yesterday it was like word well that came up quite suddenly <{><[>last night <[>it <.>VE so suddenly <{><[>that that was <.>a <[>i didn't get home probably until nearly seven thirty yeah and i got my blankets in off the line i had to wash all my blankets i <{1><[1>spilt a cup of tea on my bed my OWN fault i walked in <{2><[2>with a cup of tea in my hand and tripped over something and it all laughs it <.>fl i mean i could see it fly out of the cup laughs and <&>9:00 almost like something leaping <[1>yeah <[2>yes i've done that yeah yeah oh oh <&>MK makes sympathetic noises throughout next utterance yes and grabbing yeah laughs oh and it i didn't have a towel or ANYthing there by it just soaked <{><[>right through i had to strip the bed right down <[>yeah oh how <{><[>AWFUL <[>and i washed all the blankets and er <{><[>the sheets and the under blankets <[>oh still they've done their <,> they've had their spring clean now yeah well i put them out yesterday and oh that's all right i started washing them <,> and SOMEhow i mean i checked the sink <{1><[1>first but somehow with the wash basket full of a blanket i knocked a sponge down into the damn sink <,> it blocked the plug hole <{2><[2>everything overflowed <[1>yeah <[2>you <.>d you didn't <{><[>oh <.>dai <[>this is yesterday morning i mean i got up at <{><[>half past five which was a <[>you did that just a while back oh i know i'm stupid laughs but i got up at half past five <.>to <{><[>as usual <[>i won't answer that mm and i didn't get away from home until quarter past seven because i had this flood to deal with went out to start putting things onto the line <{><[>and there's THREE baby bird bodies on the path <[>yeah oh <{><[>no <[>obviously a nest <.>there near there somewhere they'd all tried to fly all <{><[>the way home so splat splat splat so i had to <&>10:00 get out the shovel <[>oh daisy oh you're <.>jo i had to get out <{><[>the shovel this morning too <[>and shovel the little bodies up and throw them somewhere where the lawnmower wouldn't crunch them oh laughs what a horror story and so i didn't get all my washing finished <{><[>oh <,> <.>and <.>and <[>by the time i did all this i had to go to work so i hung half the blankets out in the afternoon when i got home before i went to whitireia and actually <{><[>yeah they didn't get wet or anything? <[>word well i got home as i say around half past seven <{1><[1>and took them in straight away thinking they'll be VERY damp <{2><[2>because of <.>the the lack of sunlight <[1>mm <[2>yeah but they <{><[>weren't <[>but NO they were actually reasonable <.>a they needed airing yeah oh <{><[>well that's great <[>and so i aired um a couple in the dryer and put them on the bed for last <{><[>night and the other two um i'm airing them today <&>10:42 <[>yeah
