thought that might be the case mm mm so when are <.>they when's their stuff being moved i think next weekend in auckland <,,><&>3 and they're taking their bed up and everything <&>5:00 <,,> what you mean they're just going to sleep on the floor i think tony and pamela are lending them their airbed oh well mm i think the more they can <.>take pack up and take the better mhm <,,><&>7 mm have you tried that <,,> oh cos eventually they'll be able to strip the flat bare yeah before they go <,,><&>4 i wonder if um <,,> sam's mum has um <,> got anyone else to go in that flat it's a nice place for <{><[>a couple <[>mm mm mm do you know how much they pay for it no i don't don't you uh uh no me either laughs wouldn't be that bad no <{><[>would it? <[>two bedrooms though <,,> mm <&>6:00 central city mm tut yeah clears throat <.>must <,,> must be quite good really because i mean they can both walk to work <{><[>from there <[>mm <,,><&>3 they go home for lunch mm <,,><&>26 mm <,,><&>39 <&>7:00 mm that was good honey <{><[>thank you <[>it was good <,,><&>10 mm <,,><&>34 <&>8:00 it'll be funny not having tim and maryanne here won't it mm mm <,,><&>6 yeah cos they leave when i'm overseas is that right <{><[>mm <[>mm they leave a week after i <,> go when do <.>you what date do you leave thirtieth of september i think they leave on the um what did you say before tim said they were going up to auckland twenty ninth oh really mm mm mm <,> but i don't think they're <.>actually probably not flying out until <,> a bit after <{1><[1>that i mean they're probably visiting <{2><[2><,> parents or something <[1>mm <[2>mm <,,><&>3 mm i might turn off the tape mm <,,><&>4 mm jordan and susie will back on will be back on tuesday yeah that's <{><[>right <[>mm <&>9:00 have you had your last shot mm when did you have it a week ago did it hurt much tut i didn't feel sick at all i just had a sore arm mm <,> so it wasn't nearly as bad as the first time not as bad <.>a no it wasn't as bad as the tetanus mm the cholera and typhoid weren't as bad as the the tetanus is that right <,> do you have to <.>have have another cholera one yeah i had two right mm <{><[>mm <[>it's that you've got to have them <,> three weeks within three <{><[>weeks of one another <[>mm mm <{><[>mm <[>otherwise the the first one will <{><[>become infected <[>mm <,,><&>9 my parents had all those shots <,> for going over to um malaysia and indonesia and they said that they only had typhoid and that the doctors in blenheim said that they didn't need the other <&>10:00 and i thought that was really strange <,> cos <.>i everyone else i know have had both well whereabouts are they going malaysia and indonesia mm they they're travelling around quite a bit <{><[>yeah <[>mm but different doctors have different <{><[>ideas i think <[>mm they do see the doctor that i went to the same the same doctor's lynley and i have the <{><[>same doctor well she's been over there and you know she <[>mm mm and she said you know she said oh you better have your cholera and typhoid and things like that <{1><[1>and she said oh and you don't really need your hepatitis A as long as you <{2><[2>drink bottled water <{3><[3>you can get away without <{4><[4>having <{5><[5>hepatitis a injection <[1>mm <[2>mm <[3>mm <[4>mm <[5>mhm see <.>m <{1><[1>voc mum and dad had hepatitis <,> and they go to different doctors and one of them gave <,> just one sort of <.>mal malarial <.>tab <,> tablet <{2><[2>and the other one gave two sorts of malarial tablet so then <{3><[3>clears throat i think it was mum went back to her doctor and asked for the other sort too <[1>mm <[2>mm <[3>mm <{><[>mm <[>mm i've got two mm mm <&>11:00 mm jason and i had that as well <{1><[1>he had the had the clorquinine and the <.>mal maloprem <{2><[2>and i only got the maloprem <[1>mm <[2>mm <[2>mm mm and i was quite thankful mm cos voc which ones are the horrible ones clorquinine well i've got both i've got the clorquinine <&>pronounced cloroquin and the maloprem yeah <,> but different doctors have got different opinions yeah on what works and what doesn't <{1><[1>what's necessary <,,> i think they've got a handbook they can look <{2><[2>up it tells you what you ought to have <{3><[3>in different countries <[1>mm <[2>mm <[3>mm <&>music in background finishes well i rang up the health department mm <{><[>oh yeah <[>and she looked up a little book <{><[>sort of showing cos they would get regular updates <[>mm <[>mm mm of the countries <{><[>mm <[>yeah saying you know <{><[>um this is what you need <[>mm mm and then you go to your doctor and say this is what i want mm mm some doctors don't know yeah mm well i went to my doctor and he said thailand oh you'll need everything there all laugh you'll need everything laughs yeah so i got <&>12:00 them all laughs <&>music starts again give you the works <{1><[1>yeah <,,> he didn't give me the <{2><[2>hepatitis shot but he sent me off to a <{3><[3>lab where they could <{4><[4>do it <[1>mm <[2>so <[3>mm <[4>did you get your hepatitis a um whichever the um i got the um glycol one <{><[>is it not what do they call it not glycol <.>that's that's antifreeze all laugh <[>mm antifreeze don't think you'll need that laughs no it's something like that one they stick in your backside anyway yeah <,,><&>6 <{><[>mm <[>it's quite funny i <,> voc <,> talking to some of the asian people and um and they said oh it's really hot over there at that time of year in october it's not as hot as <{><[>june and july which is their hottest months <[>mm mm <{><[>well <[>but it's just before the monsoon <{1><[1>season which is november <{2><[2>december <,> so it'll be still be pretty hot <[1>mm <[2>mm it's not so bad though when you're just holidaying <,> if you had to work in it it would <&>13:00 be a lot worse <{><[>but i quite enjoyed the heat <,> i liked it <[>mm mhm <{><[>during the day <[>mm mm <,> and at night <,> i loved going out at night where <.>you you could just <{><[>um you didn't have to take a jersey or anything <,> just a big tee shirt <[>mm mm it's nice <,,> in the evening it <.>gets all i'm taking is just one sweatshirt <,> <{><[>you know just for <.>fro from here <[>mm yeah mm you know so when i come back into the country <{1><[1>if it's cold i can put it on but <{2><[2>that other word <[1>yeah it'll be cold yeah <[2>you need something to wear on the aeroplane too <{><[>cos the aeroplanes are a bit cold <[>mm mm <{><[>yeah if i left my sweatshirt <[>they're especially <.>cold mm they're especially cold after you've been in a hot country mm they give you blankets and you wrap yourself up in your blanket you should laughs is that what you <.>d is that what you have <.>t is that what you did well yeah well they gave out blankets where <.>you <,> mm i came back on air new zealand from sydney and i was SO freezing tut i was just REALLY cold and i asked for blankets and they said we haven't got any that's <{><[>amazing <[>they should have <{><[>some <&>14:00 <[>mm <,> i should've complained mm said to them a bit louder mm mm yeah so i'll probably notice it when i come back mm probably will mm cos the air conditioning on the aeroplanes is kept would be kept pretty constant mm cos they're carrying people from all over the place mm qantas were really good <,> they gave out blankets on every bed of every flight mm i think we're flying back air new zealand from singapore from <,,><&>3 oh that's <{1><[1>interesting because i mean i'm not taking any raincoat or <{2><[2>anything like that and just a sweatshirt and the rest is <{3><[3><.>just <[1>want some chips? <[2>mm <[3>you might need an umbrella well i'll buy one over there <{1><[1>laughs yeah that's what i thought <{2><[2>it'll be very much like auckland really muggy but <{3><[3>raining so you can't wear a coat cos it's too hot but <{4><[4>you need an umbrella um presumably it would be like that <[1>oh yeah <[2>mm <[3>mm mm <[4>mm mm then <{><[>under cover <[>mm mm <&>15:00 mm certainly i might <,,><&>3 get one of those fold up things mm one that you can stick in your bag more coleslaw anyone mm? no thanks <{><[>annabel <[>could i perhaps have a drink of water i'll get it could i have one too please? mm okay mm <,,><&>8 mm in three months in bangkok i never used a raincoat help and it wasn't the dry season mm had quite a lot of rain <,,><&>3 but if you get wet you get dry quickly mm word anyway i'm just taking my bright cotton tops and my shorts <{><[>yeah <[>mm you can always stand under cover through the whole of the holiday mm <&>16:00 i mean you don't have to go out do you <,,><&>4 more tea? <,,><&>12 mm i was thirsty <,,><&>12 are you getting excited about <.>g about going mm i'm not that excited at the moment though <,,> but closer to the time i <{><[>probably will <[>mm mm i was getting all excited for um <,> with tim and maryanne before going over to england <,,><&>3 mm lucky things everyone's travelling <&>17:00 i know amazing isn't it mm <,,> got a postcard from bali this week from a friend who's there <,> probably get one from jordan and susie and then get one from mum and dad all laugh we hope to get one from you yeah soon laughs i'll send one when's <.>our i see you'll be able to get regular weather reports from bali laughter kim said the toughest thing was deciding <,> whether to swim <,> in the sea or in the pool or in a pool laughter that must have been hard yeah yeah but i <.>th i think we've got a pool where our hotel is which is good mm i'll probably spend most of my time in there mm be lovely mm all that warmth <,,><&>3 envy envy <&>18:00 <,,><&>3 oh well we've had our trip <,> to paraparaumu laughter mm for this year to the sea next year <,,><&>3 next year it'll be your turn mm word i didn't realise the buns were so big mm <,,><&>3 mm <.>ju mm twice the size <&>20:00 mm <,> never mind we'll cope or we should have got smaller buns <{><[>laughs <[>laughs that's a good point yeah laughs burgers those were called hamburger buns oh right <{><[><.>m <[>tut that's why i bought them clears throat yeah we should've got macdonald size size hamburger buns mm <{><[>word <[>piddly
