that's for sure <{><[>he's so broken <[>he judy and sam went to the school college and discussed it with the various ones who've had contact with him they said it'd be quite hopeless to er let him than your normal fifth form but mm he use <.>to he's got really good reports from um <{><[>when he was in school in hawera <[>i know as far as he went <.>bu but he's he's missed so much school to he he wouldn't <.>b so they're going to ask him to er go again next year into the same class oh i think they're going to try and fill in the big gaps that are <{1><[1>voc er at the end of during the rest of this year cos he missed oh <{2><[2>i think he missed most of third he missed most of fourth <[1>next year <[2>fourth form yeah he just wagged all of fourth form laughs oh did he <{><[>oh yes he <[>that's what we think yeah he used to take his clothes in his schoolbag and we'd drop him off at school and laughs he'd be off into town into the video parlours as soon as mum drove away clears them beginning to green <[><.>i it's a pretty <.>t a pretty town well planted lots and the parks we're so fortunate that we're so close to that lovely centennial drive mm and it's BEAUTIFUL <{><[>camellias and roses all coming out stellatas magnolias OH <.>it's <[>the trees are in it are magnificent copper beeches i've never seen mm it's so pretty it IS quite a wealthy town matamata i think it's all the rich farmers laughs laughs well those that are still surviving well we were told that quite a lot of wealthy farmers retired here also it's a horsey town there's a racecourse and there's lots of um places where they er they grow horses grow horses laughs they grow horses yeah laughs grow horses <{1><[1>where they train them and breed them laughs that's the <{2><[2>word study groups at night and several of them had to close up over august and september because it was lambing and foaling time dad understands all that though <{><[>cos he was trained as a farmer <[>yes i know he does yes i know <{><[>yeah <[>was he yeah <{><[>he's got his all his certificates and everything <[>i didn't know that he went to agricultural college oh right word at massey as soon as he <{><[>yes the wire gets hot <[>the wire gets so hot it'd burn all the plants right burn them through <{><[>so that's something we never had to worry about down in <&>10:00 lower hutt you see <[>when you <.>have yeah so er i went round to the nursery yesterday to buy some of this netting and they said no we haven't got any left they had some brown stuff so i went over then to kaimai nurseries that's further round they only had brown stuff so i came back to the first one and ordered it then i told sam later <.>th they hadn't got any and he said HA ha ha he said i bought the lot <{><[>laughs <[>laughs he'd been there two or three days before and bought all they had you see just enough he'd put up a bean fence he was showing me <{1><[1>what to do <,> because he can only work on elsewhere yesterday nearly two hundred people arrested some drug ring or something was it drugs and er an organised stealing motorcars <{><[>and processing them and voc three policemen have been working undercover for <.>thr for a whole year whereas i said to jessie tut when they announced that <.>the the centre of the north island operation was in lower hutt <[>oh dear clears throat <{><[>oh <[>i said look how the moral standard has deteriorated since we left <{><[>laughs <[>just as well you got out in time they might have been able to arrest you too laughs weren't you the ringleaders <&>13:00 the er fences that is a man who receives stolen goods had four burglars working for him he'd say what he wanted and they'd just go out and steal it from somewhere and bring it in tut oh dear
