going YEAH yep yep there arms up everywhere <[>really everyone wanted it were they just doing it to get in on <.>the or just that they really wanted <{><[>it word <[>everyone just wanted the fiat and so how much did it go for in the end five thousand five thousand and something wow the owner will be RAPT yeah well the reserve price came up <.>at i mean <.>the the now selling sign came up at about two nine so the reserve was about two nine REally yeah well i couldn't have afforded that anyway yeah i know but <{><[>that's crazy <[><.>but mm but it would've been a nice car to own but i'm quite happy with this one hey look at this one um <,> sun metal is the colour yeah it's got um it's got um um um um um <.>th the fans and everything work in it all the heaters and stuff work in the car oh that's good i've forgotten <.>what what little things used to irritate me about peter <&>2:00 you know <.>th the heater and fan and everything but this all works and it goes into reverse and um i'm <.>just yeah and it's really cheap is it quite funny looking though OOHHHHH i think i know what it <.>l it looks like <,> bit confused i think it's not REALly funny looking i'm gonna look really <[2>i HOPE so yeah i looked at the engine the engine looks really OLD laughs does it it looks like a bloody steam engine or something oh no but um hey i'm not worried much laughs laughs MUCH you were rapt five seconds ago i'm still really rapt <{><[>word <[>oh cool i love my car i'm glad you didn't have to pay too much for it either no i <.>didn't honestly i was standing there and all these cars were going for about two five three thousand i was sitting there going i'm not going to get a car tonight yeah i just knew i wasn't gonna get a car because all the ones that went in my price range were CRAP yeah <&>tape cuts out for nine seconds <&>4:00 no but all the other cars were just like um just all these morris marinas <.>an and ford escorts and the vauxhall magna they couldn't even get that in front of the thing they wouldn't even wheel it <{><[>it wouldn't move <[>and how much did that go for went for about a hundred dollars oh laughs and it was orange and black and it was really nice laughs it really was um and that mirage that <.>was was that that racy black one no no <{><[>no no <.>th <.>they that one went for HEAPS that went for about six thousand dollars <[>oh no oh that was <{><[>HIDeous <[>i know <.>th that was the brown one we looked at that all the upholstery and stuff inside was rotten don't know whether you remember we looking at that that holden camira went for stuff all really that big <{><[>one <[>yeah that big holden camira that we looked at <{1><[1>and you said that's a big car and we opened up the bonnet and everything had a big <{2><[2>engine went for about two thousand four hundred <[1>silver <[2>yeah REALly yeah cos that was big eh i almost BID for it yeah um and all the mazda three two threes <.>went that was the yellow one <{1><[1>you wanted oh no no <{2><[2>yellow one word <[1>yeah <[2><.>w that <.>yello yeah but that came up early as well all these ones came up early cos they were all <.>in they were <&>5:00 arranged in the yard different to what they were on the <,> <{><[>on that thing yeah <[>oh on the sheet oh that was very confusing laughs <,> and so did that white one go for quite a lot that white laser one yeah no that was the one i bid for <{><[>that was the one i bought the automatic white laser <[>you didn't word DID you yeah you BOUGHT it i bought it that was the one i had for how much two grand <,> that's worse condition than this one <{><[>word <[>but it was <.>under but it was under reserve yeah but i mean the guy said i can give it to you for two grand the guy said <.>he <.>he the reserve was two five yeah but he said <.>i i could get two grand for it and it's all yours yeah but you said no <{><[>flat out <[>yeah it was PUMPing smoke everywhere it was an automatic um and um and it <.>was the body was RUSTy as anything yeah <{><[>i know i remember <[>the doors were yeah and i <.>was and i was sitting there <.>going cos he said to <.>me i said well i DON'T want <.>the the um laughs marina and he said well do you want the honda civic or <.>the the laser and we went and had a look at them and the two things <&>6:00 that changed my mind was um <,> one <.>that that the honda was manual mm and two that um the laser was really rusty why did you <.>want why do you want manual <,> um because i don't want the same hassles <.>th cos automatics that were made prior to about nineteen eighty nine mm um untune themselves so they don't go into reverse and don't go into gear and stuff like peter did mm and that's just such a hassle not very helpful at all no <.>how <.>why well how did <.>that how much did that toyota <{><[>corolla go for <[>i didn't <.>in arrive in time oh is that word i <.>arrived <.>wha is that ford telstar there yeah look at it all power steering car stereo power windows power mirrors <{><[>um <[>and it was in <.>the <,> yep <,> under four thousand yep wonder how <{><[>much that went for <[>just two owners it <.>was the problem was <.>it <.>was was all the um it had been in an accident and they put the um <,> laughs and they put the um panels back on it but they hadn't put any of the trimmings or the paint or anything yeah <&>7:00 none of the bumpers had been stuck back on it it was minus the bumpers and trimmings all round the side and two of the panels weren't painted the same colour as the rest of the car oh was it sold yeah mm yeah well <.>one probably would have been a really good car though eh yeah if you got it and <{><[>then did it up <[>if you had the money <.>to to do it i wonder how much the lada went for <&>cheers lada lada but um subaru fourwheel drive that <.>was that was sold as well i was quite interested in that but these honda civics went for HEAPS more <{><[>word <[>wonder why they <.>w wonder why <,,> that had <.>pr ten previous owners that <{><[>one <[>and it was nineteen seventy SIX yeah what's my one um <,,> eighty one oh well <.>that's <{><[>yeah <.>that's i wonder why <[>see mine's an eighty one wow that's crazy mm i suppose people just bid on the first kind of honda civic that came up yeah <.>they yeah <.>by by the stage i was round to bidding mm i mean we were up to what thirty odd um the numbers of people there had like halved <{><[>yeah <[>people were just leaving because they'd <&>8:00 missed the car they'd wanted or because they'd bought a car and they were heading home <,> yeah pays to have <.>y the car you want at the end of the list then doesn't it it does rather so i wonder how much that laser went for in the end cos that might not have actually gone for that much no but you know mm well now i need to um get the car tomorrow yep use it for a day and see how <.>it how it is yeah and then take it to the garage what do you have to take it to the garage for get him to have a look at it oh get him to just do a check and just say you know cos if he <{><[>says <[>so you can evaluate it straight away <{><[>and see if it needs anything done <[>yeah yeah so if he says the brake pads are about to collapse then he can replace them <.>and or i replace them or something yeah and once that's done well if it's just got a <.>warr oh no yeah well they don't check stuff like that for a warrant don't
