<[1>word inhales <[2>coughs oh i didn't see that it was this cos i got a bit bored <{><[>with it so i turned it off <[>afro american guy <&>rattling of ice yeah and er exhales toby got his first vaccination today did he <,,> and he went voc did he didn't like it cos i gave him a leukaemia one as well did you yes a vaccination to stop him getting leukaemia yeah you can do it when um like on their first shots but for older cats it doesn't really work that <{><[>well <[>what about for people what do you mean leukaemia isn't that cancer of the bones yeah well can't you <.>have can people have a vaccination <{><[>against it <[>no laughs well how come cats can <{><[>can't <.>they <[>i don't know can't <.>they exhales can't they find a stronger er vaccine i've never asked maybe it's a different type of virus or <{><[>something <.>comple <[>oh yeah did you ring kathryn today uh uh didn't you she was supposed to ring me <&>2:00 was she yep do you <.>re what time tonight or i don't know she just said wednesday oh yeah so she's a rudey that girl rudey laughs mm <{><[>i wrote to jane today <[>mm oh did you and anna oh that was good <{><[>of you <[>got a postcard from anna and said they got up at five thirty yeah after having a hard night on the what's it called sang <.>gri shangri la sangria no it's a drink oh i don't know what it is um some you know funny yeah alcoholic drink and they got up at five thirty and saw the bulls run or something oh was she in spain when the bulls <{><[>word <[>oh spain yeah sorry and they <.>d and the bulls run down the street yeah i'd get up and DEFINITELY watch that yeah it was five thirty in the morning or something saw the bulls run she put that's pretty awesome though is she in spain at the moment mm well that's where the postcard was from oh yeah how long is she there for <{><[>or is she just there for <.>the <[>i don't know it's ten weeks round the place round europe no <.>it's you just pass by europe on your way <&>3:00 down to africa type thing is <.>that is she going down to africa now mm oh is she cos er the only address i've got for it is to send to in algeria oh really mm <&>rattling of ice i wonder what she'll be like <{><[>mm i wonder <[>because she's gone really weird inhales <.>i i mean you'd think i'd pick up something from her letters yeah <.>d like do you pick up any sort of change from her letters well a little bit like the fact that she cut her hair was enough of an <{><[>amazement to me inhales anna's NEVER cut her hair never ever ever <[>really does it look really nice though looks all right but <.>i which looks better well i always think now er some people can get away with it but i do think that long hair looks better on most girls yeah except when people get old and then they always chop it off yeah i know they do eh yep once you go over <{><[>thirty or something <[>when you have babies and stuff cos you know <.>it mm it's a hassle like if you've ever looked after little babies they pull your hair and things mm but um mum was saying most people get their <&>4:00 hair cut short cos makes them look younger and long hair does something to the face or something i don't reckon that's true though cos i look <.>at my mum's got this friend helen and um she's got long hair mind you she always wears it pulled right back in a pony tail yeah and her hair she doesn't have a fringe it's always right off her face and she's got quite thick hair and <{><[>it's greyish <[>she'd be lucky to have that suit her though yeah it does suit her though <.>it <{><[>she always looks really tidy <,> it's quite awesome i reckon <[>does she i'd like to keep mine long laughs <{><[>you'd like to keep it long <[>i'm a real haired girl now you can have it in a um <.>th my mum's got this other friend isabel who's got hers in a like <.>a a curly bob round here <.>it's yeah yeah that's true bobs are all right that looks quite cool i reckon they sort of go <.>through i don't think they ever really go out no <{><[>cos they're classic hairstyles <[>not really yeah this is gonna be very boring if anybody was eavesdropping our <{><[>conversation laughs <[>laughs i reckon it's funny how <.>you there's always the thing to get your hair permed up until about <.>s <&>5:00 sixth form or something <{><[>and now it's not <[>just thinking now about all the stuff that you put in your hair <{><[>like you put in <[>i know and now it's like <{><[>oh rah naturelle <[>colours and yeah like you wouldn't use as much hair spray and stuff on your hair now as you used to would <{><[>you <[>i don't really use any yeah very often maybe if you're going out at night and stuff mm or if you're wearing it back but if it's out you don't no and when i had my hair your length i could never understand why you always used to go putting gel in <{><[>and hairspray and laughs <[>laughs no but it was still a bit funny then now when you've <{><[>grown out the lengths and stuff yeah <[>now that it sits all right but it's still a bit scrappy cos there's still a bit a few bits <{><[>laughs <[>laughs bit scrappy is it dear scrappy <{><[>like scrappy doo <[>like scrappy doo you know it's still got a few bits <{1><[1>that aren't quite meeting the <{2><[2>quota <[1>word <[2>we haven't even been talking for five minutes <{><[>yet <[>oh my god half an hour's a long time it is a long time i <{><[>want <.>t <[>i'm thinking about giving up smoking are you <,> you were last week as well <&>6:00 <{><[>though <[>i can't decide exhales <{><[>gave up on sunday till three oclock laughs <[>word what would stop you doing it though because i like it obviously or i wouldn't do it yeah it's like you eating dinner you like eating dinner <{><[>laughs and i like smoking exhales <[>laughs andrew johns is getting a bit of a hassle eh around the house has he done anything about <{><[>flats <[>kept no kept matthew up till three oclock in the bloody morning last night what for not kept him up like matthew was quite happy to stay up yeah well don't say kept him up then well <.>bloody if <.>a if he wasn't there then they wouldn't have been sitting in the lounge talking till <{><[>three oclock <[>laughs well matthew could have gone to bed i know but they had the lounge lights on and everything so <.>i shining in my bedroom window and i couldn't get to sleep what were they doing oh they were talking about god and everything and then i got up and <{><[><.>sw <[>about god yes his father's religious yes i thought he was a satanist laughs no <.>he's his mother was a satanist his <&>7:00 grandmother was a satanist he <.>ge i got up this morning <.>and and they're sitting on the sofa reading the bible matthew and andrew oh my god i'd get him out of there really quickly i'm <.>not and i said to <.>m and then andrew told matthew that him and <.>a andrew said to matthew you and jenny are soulmates <,,><&>3 <&>rattling glasses and footsteps what's wrong with that cold no it's just my throat's <{><[>sort of swelling <[>oh he <{><[>said you and jenny are soulmates and matthew came to bed at three o clock in the morning and he's going we're soulmates and i was going voc <[>coughs oh my goodness cos i reckon that half like people to get you into that sort of you know religion sort of thing they <.>might they compliment <{><[>you and <[>yeah that what's i was <.>just yeah so that you think oh yeah awesome kind of yeah what religion is he he's no religion he just believes <{><[>in god <[>andrew johns' religion andrew johns' philosophy on life i hope no one knows him <{><[>laughs all all names shall be changed <[>laughs yes they already have been <&>8:00 um mary joseph and jesus laughs but don't you reckon that's weird souls can meet <{><[><.>any <[>and like then he started going on to me about how all gays and all lesbians have been sexually abused what <{><[>an idiot <[>and you know how i feel about that sort of thing cos i just think lesbianism and homosexuality and stuff is just normal it's just another dimension of life mm and he goes think of all the suffering that the homosexuals go through he was going it's not natural and they've been sexually abused when they were children which has turned them to the other sex whatever sex oh he's weird and about how um if a guy was <.>ab sexually abused by his father the feelings of arousal came from a <{1><[1>man when he was little and then i said oh look i'm <.>just and i had to leave the room cos i was just getting nowhere and i was just going that is just crap and voc that's rubbish and i don't know how you can inhales sit there and <.>say i mean what sort of study is ever going to back you up on <&>9:00 this <{2><[2>claim and he goes i <{3><[3>haven't come to this conclusion by myself and i said who's helped you and he goes <[1>oh no <[2>laughs <[3>coughs god and he just went don't worry like this and i went no i won't and so i walked out of the room and then i came and i thought about it and i thought okay then <.>if if homosexuals weren't like invented <.>by cos he reckoned that you know how people who abuse their children sexually must have something to do with the devil the <{1><[1>devil must encourage them to do that cos it's a bad thing it's hurting other <{2><[2>people and that it's not something god does so therefore the devil is making homosexuals in <.>that like in that roundabout sort of way and i <.>s <.>sai cos it's <.>causing cos homosexuality <.>is can be formed like forms of pain can come from it you know like <[1>oh no <[2>yeah yeah <.>s um society you know rejects you and stuff and <{1><[1>um or ostracises you and so i walked back in and i said okay if THAT'S true andrew i want you to think about THIS and i said what <&>10:00 about people like the um negroes in america like you know in the watts riots and things like that you know those riots that they had <{2><[2>and stuff and i said what about them do <.>they they've been through a lot just about <.>as probably more suffering than bloody <,> um <[1>oh <[2>mm laughs than <{><[>gays or lesbians have <[>word have than gays or lesbians have so why did god make them then THEY'RE not natural either and in the end he <.>goes and he went to say something and then he stopped and i went WELL <,> he goes <,> yes that's a very good point and i said well that's where i'm going to leave you <{1><[1>and he goes <{2><[2>and now you're going to walk out? <[1>laughs <[2>i'll have to give that some thought laughs he goes why are you walking out then and i said cos i don't want to get into another discussion about it i just want to leave it at that <,,> <{><[>mm <[>then he tells me i'm a chosen one laughs a chosen one? yep chosen for what i'll be chosen by god <,> to help <,> <{><[>and um <[>oh my <&>11:00 goodness where does he get all this rubbish from is this just to flatter you so you'll enter <.>his hey i think it must be some sort of <{1><[1>careful okay we've been talking for just about ten minutes i reckon cos you know when you brainwash people <{2><[2>the form of brainwash <{3><[3>is like being really nice to them and <{4><[4>stuff <[1>laughs <[2>exhales <[3>mm <[4>i'd get him out of your house <{><[>very quickly <[>and he says things <.>like like he said to matthew it's not just chance that he's moved into this flat with the four of us oh no he's sent there to convert you all yeah oh oh voc <{><[>laughs <[>laughs and andrew is going to be the teacher <{1><[1>and we're going to be the disciples <{2><[2>laughs <[1>oh my <[2>goodness laughs andrew's the second coming of jesus laughs that's what it sounds like they're trying to tell me i think you should really get him out very quickly inhales before you all <{><[>start <[>no cos when i start going <{><[>oh don't be so ridiculous stop that bloody going on about god all the time well he doesn't really have anything else to talk about except the bible and stuff <,,> <&>12:00 <[>having bible lessons <.>and it hurts does it yeah it's like having a razor blade in my throat you should get some of that stuff difflam oh it's thirteen bucks a pop and i've just finished that <{><[>one <[>oh is it should've <{><[>got some more <[>wonder if you can get it prescribed cos it used to be prescription medicine did it isn't it funny how we've just changed tack completely it is actually we did this thing in seventh form english yeah we each did a conversation like this and you transcribed it yeah and there's so many ums and ers and and like interrupting and and um people just change tack totally that's probably what <{><[>this is all about cos they <.>want they want to work out you know <.>how how you interrupt people <[>you don't realise that you do it mm things like that and who dominates the conversation so who's she sending this to it just goes to varsity and it goes on file or something she was saying and does she get marks for it no yeah she does it's part <.>of it's like a <{><[>terms requirement <[>terms requirement i guess i <{1><[1>don't know otherwise she wouldn't have done it you <.>wouldn't you wouldn't volunteer to get your friends <{2><[2>to do something like this would you <&>13:00 <[1>oh yeah <[2>mhm hey we did this thing in psych it was good fun today on tuesday yeah and um exhales and we had four partitions yeah and you had four different <.>like <.>and and it's divided up and you can't see anyone else yeah and um you had these little symbols <{><[>and you had four symbols and you have to <.>communicate we each only had one box so we could poke a little message through <[>yeah did you to the person in the other box and everyone was poking messages to this one person yeah and um what written messages yeah you just write on <.>it um what we ended up doing it took us a while to get used to it but you write all your symbols you've got <{><[>like square star and all this and poke it through the box cos you had to figure out which one symbol you all had in common <[>yeah oh i <{><[>see <[>and then blue looked at them all and said right who blue blue the person in the blue one oh i see laughs i thought you meant that was the person's name no blue looked at them all and um tut <.>sp <&>14:00 posted it back through <{><[>and then you push your little button with that symbol on it and in the um tut in the other group they could all communicate with each other they could um do three other places they could post their little messages <[>oh yeah yeah and um <{><[>it took them HEAPS HEAPS longer cos you know how if you just have one person doing it <[>so they all could mail their little things yeah it won't take you very <{><[>long <[>oh that's quite interesting eh well it was quite fun and then when you got it like she'd send back a little piece of paper that said circle so you'd push the little circle button yeah and then the timer says okay <{><[>laughs <[>laughs that's like remember when we did that psychology experiment and they flashed those things over mm <{><[>did we get five bucks for that <[>what <.>did yeah i think it was five what <.>did what did <.>it what did you have to do <,> you had to push a certain button if it was um i've forgotten now it was bloody hard though it WAS hard eh mm cos it was so quick yeah <&>drinking sounds i hate stew <&>15:00 i'm tired now <,> it's all my energy gone lets watch t v you hate stew yeah gross thought you said lisa was a really good cook so it might taste she is very very nice she is supposed to be a good cook <&>15:15
