farm <{2><[2>i mean <.>we we're not going to have any cows eh no WAY no that'd be pretty awful you've had some really bad experiences though what about <&>6:00 that one that stuffed your back up remember she got really nasty <{3><[3>you were jumping over all the fences and she was just running straight through them you hear voc <{4><[4>laughs <[1>clears throat <[2>laughs <[3>oh that's right yeah <[4>that's right i was up at um gary's when i worked up there and <.>we it was actually their own gardens it's their um their calf he got stuck in the bog on a hill side where there's sort of yeah a bit of water that was coming out it was quite boggy and the calf actually got stuck you know its legs got stuck in <.>the in the mud and um and we sort of went up to clean them all out and we found the calf and he <.>was he was only just sort of alive at that stage and we pulled him out and fed him up but um he <.>was he was just crazy eh sort of went nuts and <.>we oh what happened <{1><[1>that's right we <.>put put the calf down the bottom <,> in a sort of a flat paddock and um you know we sort of we were just going to see you know if <.>it if it picked up at all or if she was gonna you know be able <&>7:00 to feed it and er and it wasn't looking too good so <.>we we went up and we parked the van round right beside it cos you know all the cows were around and they get really upset you know if <.>you're if you're gonna rear them and they've got calves and um and sort of one of us went underneath the landrover and just <.>pulled pulled the calf underneath the landrover so it was safe cos you know all these cows were all sort of butting at the landrover and <{2><[2>everything sort of moo moo moo kind of thing and she was really nuts eh took to the landrover so er <,> and then i think we <.>jus we just backed off you know and sort of cleared out and um she actually <.>stomped stomped the calf to death eh <{3><[3>she <.>stomped stomped all over it yeah <[1>what we do to animals <[2>laughs <[3>oh really i didn't realise they did that no mm she was just deranged eh yuk and then later on when we were moving all the cows out um i went up cos she turned round and went back up and this is like <.>months you know a couple of months later and she's still <&>8:00 looking for the calf you know <.>going going bananas about it i went up and there was this old fence and she was sort of down at one end of this paddock and i was just walking up the fence line through these rushes heading up towards her or something and i'd chase her back down <.>and down with all the <.>other all the other cattle and as i was getting closer and closer she was you know sort of head came up and her ears came up you know and she started shaking and looking at me and she snorted a couple of times and she just came running straight for me laughs so of course i jumped over the fence and thought oh you know this is okay thought you know i'm not going to bother with her any more and then i started walking away from the thing next minute i hear this bang and i turned around and there she is coming through the <{1><[1>fence and she just runs straight at it she just bang the batons flying off eh and bits of wire you know it's like word in the movies you know and er i thought oh no i've got nowhere to run so i turned round and ran back and jumped over the fence and of course by this time she'd started coming up the hill and i was sort of running away from <&>9:00 her and back to the <{2><[2>fence and i jumped over the fence and sort of started you know running away from the fence again next thing bang <{3><[3>and she's coming straight through the fence again and it was about five times and i was just jumping over the fence like this and she was just going straight through it eh word <[1>laughs <[2>laughs <[3>laughs enough to turn you vegetarian i know laughs well i did my back in that was it laughs and then you got a job at the housing corporation mm yes laughs word laughs yes he did and that's where he met me oh laughs no i haven't had any real life threatening experiences really <{><[>i don't think <[>what about the time when you saved me from your father with the potato peeler <{><[>laughs <[>laughs that was that was funny really it was pretty serious at the time it wasn't actually a potato peeler it was um those little paring knives or <{><[>whatever it was <[>yeah it looked really sharp yeah actually that was a bit silly of me <{1><[1>laughs i didn't realise at first and i was just sort of like jumped in front of you <&>10:00 and and you <.>started sort of like talking <.>i <.>i I actually thought he had a potato peeler too <{2><[2>until i saw the knife and sort of jumped in front to protect <.>my my man <{3><[3>you know and i thought oh and i thought oh he <.>w he probably wouldn't do anything to his dear daughter <[1>yeah <[2>mm <[3>laughs laughs it was good for me cos i thought hey she really does love me <{><[>laughs <[>laughs and i thought yeah had a great big you know <.>b super munchkin yay <{><[>laughs yeah that <.>w that was a bad night actually cos we'd missed the train didn't we we had to <[>yeah that's right <{><[>it was about two in the morning eh <[>we had to catch a taxi yeah catch a taxi down from the station no trains we just missed a train i remember and we <.>w we were getting ready cos we'd been drinking or something as well and i was <{1><[1>really crook and we had some <.>whis whisky or something and we finished that bottle and we were throwing stones real delinquents on the station at <{2><[2>two o clock in the morning voc and we um were throwing stones at it remember <&>pronounced member to try and break it and i kept on <{3><[3>missing and then you hit it and then i got really snotty about that and <.>then <&>tape cuts out very briefly <[1>yeah <[2>laughs <[3>laughs it was SO cold eh <{1><[1>and i had the flu and i was just feeling really lousy and you said oh we've got to get you somewhere so we thought <&>11:00 we'd hitchhike and there was <.>all there was a couple of cars parked at the station and sort of like the fleeting thing was <{2><[2>oh let's break into a car eh i don't know why i mean i <.>wo wouldn't know the first thing about it but it was just sort <.>of thought <{3><[3>it was a really good idea remember we tried one eh and we just got <{4><[4>such a fright <.>we we took off laughs cos i thought what happens if a door opens eh <{5><[5>voc <[1>yeah word <[2>laughs <[3>exhales <[4>that's right laughs <[5>we were trying to break in through the bonnet <{><[>laughs <[>laughs trying everything it was really cold but then this taxi driver picked us up eh yeah <{><[>word <[>remember and he gave us a lift that's right <{><[>yeah <[>yeah and then we stayed the night in <.>the oh he said if we were going to be there about an hour later cos he was coming home no it was just too cold so we stayed the night at that motel yeah you squashed that bush when we stayed at <{><[>the word <[>laughs yes well enough said <{><[>about daisy bushes laughs i think i've got word the daisy bushes <.>the mm mm i didn't really have anything like that <.>ha i've never been in a serious car accident or anything <[><.>sa sat in it mm i must <.>be i must be going to have a real <&>12:00 incredible accident one day cos i've never been in hospital i've never had broken arms you shouldn't say things like that i know it could happen <&>pretends to scream but a FUNNY thing happened remember i was telling you <.>lisa tut lisa and i were coming up to see you and i went to the bank to get some money and oh <{><[>THAT'S right <[>laughs and she had it was a white datsun <{1><[1>eh it was the white <{2><[2>datsun and <.>she there wasn't any parks so she double parked and i shot off to the bank you know used the money machine and i came back and i didn't notice that she'd moved the car and i didn't notice that um <,> oh <.>y she was actually waving to me but i didn't see i just had my head down and i just saw this car and i <.>th it was double parked word so i just like opened the door and i just sort of had like <{3><[3>one foot in and one foot out and then <.>i i looked at <.>the he was holding the steering wheel and i thought since when has lisa <{4><[4>got great big hairy arms and tats eh and i thought what and <&>13:00 then i looked round and there's this guy sitting in the car and he's <{5><[5>like looking up at me and i <.>s oh hello like this and i went oh no and i shut the car and i looked up and <{6><[6>lisa <.>who who'd parked right beside the bank was cracking up laughing i was just so embarrassed eh i mean it wasn't even the same coloured car or <[1>yeah <[2>laughs <[3>laughs <[4>laughs <[5>laughs <[6>laughs yeah or you know <{><[><.>th there was nothing the same eh <[>laughs i know <{><[>word <[>laughs i <.>couldn't we laughed eh all the way from porirua all the way up to <.>p <{><[>paraparaumu <[>yes you giggled for weeks about that tut i know <{1><[1>it was just so embarrassing i mean this guy probably had a <{2><[2>good laugh he'd have gone home hey guess what happened <.>t voc but he <{3><[3>had great big hairy arms with tats eh it was so funny i thought inhales <{4><[4>lisa what happened you weren't like this five minutes ago eh laughs mm that was funny <[1>so did i at the time <[2>laughs <[3>yeah <[4>laughs word good <.>things things like that don't happen <.>t and we hadn't been drinking or anything you know so i mean that made it even worse mm wrong car wrong colour absolutely stone cold sober laughs and you probably appreciated it word <&>14:00 probably yeah yeah what the hell do <.>y doing in lisa's <{><[>car laughs <[>laughs what have you done with lisa laughs where is she what have you done no no no life threatening experiences <,,> mm you seem to have had the more exciting things happen to you well <.>i i could have done without them at the time <{><[>laughs quite sure about that <[>laughs word word i hope word are on our own for the next what <{><[>is it six weeks who rue <[>yeah six weeks with no milkman <{><[>is that right <[>yeah it's gonna be great too eh get the house all tidied up yep so we can sell it or <.>we so that gary can sell it put it on the market yeah it's gonna be great eh we spent the last three days chopping all the stuff down by the pool all these um <{><[>what is it ferns and stuff eh for three days and we've just been burning all this stuff word <&>14:58 <[>mm
