<{><[>mm? <[>i wonder how much it'll cost to lease those <.>h shops <{><[>word rich <[>oh it'd be TOO much yeah you pay a set rent mm then you pay one percent of your income mm your turnover okay your weekly turnover um and that supposedly goes towards promotion or mm whatever of the mall itself but the thing is um we were just looking <.>at <.>a at the food prices really er yeah and i was gonna get <{><[>us <.>a <[>they're not cheap are they i was gonna get us a sponge cake <{><[><.>and <.>and <.>a <.>a and a square like that <[>oh yeah yeah <,> was three fifty <&>5:00 is that right yeah yeah you're better off at the markets eh cos you buy a whole big sponge cake for ten dollars or something that's cheap isn't it oh that's DEAR is it yeah well i mean <.>if <{><[><.>if word <[>well we've just bought one of them now for four ninety five mm at the new new world in the city central city that's wakefield street oh must <.>be but the one in newtown we bought one a week ago mm a sponge <,> cream filled sponge really nice yeah <{><[>how much <[>er fluffy sponge er icing on top lot of cream <.>a and jam <.>and and that was three dollars fifty oh yeah yeah <,> well this one <.>had complete yeah you know with the cream <{><[>and all <.>and <[>whipped cream yeah yeah it was complete cos you <.>get you buy those sponges at the supermarket pretty cheap eh they're only a dollar something eh nah nah <.>they're they were dear too weren't they <&>6:00 <.>the what the unfilled ones <{><[>yeah <[>yeah the <{><[>unfilled <[>yeah they were quite dear yeah they were three dollars <.>or <{><[>or something <.>like <[>laughs with a permanent shelf life <{><[>laughs lasts from now until doomsday <[>yeah yeah so i was quite amazed no i reckon they'll have it pretty close by christmas too i said to <.>steven well it's supposed to be opening before christmas <{><[>isn't it well it'll be fantastic <[>yeah <{><[>you know <[>i said to him steve jeez <.>you you're working sundays he said oh hell i've been doing it for a while now bro <{><[>laughs <[>laughs oh you only just saw him this morning? yeah he yelled out to me i <.>w i <.>went i walked past to <{><[>go to the bank <,> he says oh come and have a look bro it's all changed now clears throat i says oh yeah gee this place is you know really going places johnsonville <[>oh YEAH very much so yeah actually er the more people that i talk down here er you know people who <.>have HAVE businesses yeah <&>7:00 or who are <.>c who are contemplating er moving here were saying that <,> that um what's happening here um is er er is really drawing clears throat customers away from newlands tawa er khandallah er and people who are generally passing through you know like <.>our our truckdriver brad who brings all our pastry goods down from palmerston he decided to drive through you know just to have a look because he'd sort of heard all about the changes and this is what's happening with a lot of truckies yeah <.>i i tell you once they get that road done it'll be good though eh oh yeah it'd be fantastic yeah to get it er flowing a lot more faster <&>8:00 than how it is at present it's terrible er but it's quite interesting though that <,> from the lights <,> down <{><[>towards the gorge there <,> it's still <.>that a sort of bleak area it's as though <[>yeah mm they really need to er er revamp er tut something there too i was er thinking er i wouldn't mind getting a place <.>if either here <.>or or in petone you know yeah yeah yeah exactly um <.>i i don't know what they're planning on doing about er the transport improving er the rail mind you in petone <.>they they're building a new big pak n save pak n save there yeah <.>that's you see it's right up this end though yeah <{><[><.>th the gear meat the old gear meat place <[><.>of yeah yeah so it's <{><[>more <.>to it's more towards er it's away from <.>the <.>the the shopping area eh <[>yeah <.>s <.>so <&>9:00 yeah the main shopping area er it's as though <,,> it should have been where they're building yeah where they've just built that new police station mm you know they should've <{><[>kept everything still <[>yeah virtually around the area so that when people walk out of there they can still er do a bit of shopping you know for knick knacks in the city a bit because where the supermarket is they'll drive there do their shopping and then drive off <,> er they won't hang around whereas oh this is <{><[>back on again <[>oh is this starting again must be a new yeah <,,> i remember when i was still here <.>they they used to have a primary school <.>a at there right in that er mm eh <{><[>there used to be a primary school eh <[>that's round in <.>britan that's round in britannia street now <&>10:00 oh yeah oh <.>in <{><[>that's where <.>the yeah <[>petone central no no you're talking about opposite briscoe's aren't you <{><[>no no there used to be one where that police site is <[>no no there used to be a primary school where the <.>pl police station is that's where petone <{><[>primary was <[>oh yes yes yes yes eh yeah yeah moved round to britannia mm the other one up by briscoe's was petone west mm <{><[>yeah well they're gonna be <[>that closed a long time ago oh did it mm oh well where that police station is all the rest of that area they're gonna put into er er pensioner units <,,> <&>TN and KA grunt it's <.>gonna terrible not if you're a pensioner oh yeah but <.>the the supermarket though would've been ideal there <,,><&>4 clears throat <.>what's in in kilbirnie areas like that they haven't got much er in the way of supermarkets out there eh oh they've got a woolworths and a <{><[>new world <[>pretty dead <{><[>though eh <[>and um <&>11:00 voc and a new world too i think out there yeah they've got er the new world um <,,><&>3 yeah but that's quite small though the new world er but they are <,> they're planning on a big pak n save out that way too? you know where the bus depot is yeah right there oh a big pak n save gee that's a fair way out too <,,> oh no it's just oh voc just round the corner you know really at least they've got all the parking there mm <,,> i guess we should've tried to park <.>un underneath mm oh so yous went through that new supermarket yeah it <.>wasn't quite big inside? <.>oh oh not really no oh i mean it was spacious <{><[><.>but <[>it's about the same as newtown wasn't it <&>12:00 well <.>that's well they said that it's the <.>biggest it's the biggest supermarket in <{><[>wellington <[>oh <[>yeah it's <.>a quite a <.>big in wellington?
