have to see if <.>the um i hope the <.>barnados oh no i don't know if i want to do barnados or not cos i'm looking after a little boy privately <.>two two days a week that's good and how long's that for it's from <.>eigh er nine oclock sorry till half past five <,> two days <{><[>a week yeah so that's good <[>oh really oh gee that's good and er tut and is that <&>7:00 <.>all is that job secure for next year <.>it's yeah i asked alison and she said yep and then i could go and <{><[>relieve in the creche that's what i did last year <,> before he was born so i think i could go and put my name down for that again <[>word oh whereabouts is that er it's <.>a um central miramar childcare centre behind the oh <{><[>right <[>mobil station mm so i might go and do that again and he can come with me oh definitely when josephina starts school in june <,> i'll put my name down for it <{><[>yeah <[>oh right so <.>i so i don't know if i want to do barnados or not <{><[>laughs <[>yes see i after <{><[>josephina <[>unless i got a fulltime one i think i'll <{><[>probably give up <[>permanently because for a <.>whi a couple of years it was really good i had two fulltime kids well one was from nine till three and the others was nine till five but they <.>were they came every day for two years my kids got to know them and <&>8:00 it was really good <{><[><.>but <[>nine to three one came from nine to three and the other was from nine till five but yeah my kids <{1><[1>just knew them and they belonged to the family as well <.>and and i could growl at them they knew the rules <.>they it was just really good but <{2><[2><.>now but then with barnados i got a couple who'd come for like four months and then go off to creche or they'd come for um yeah six months and then oh the mother didn't have a job or something like that so my children get <.>just get used to them and their ways and they get used to us and then <.>they're they're off again <[1>mm <[2>yes yes so i want someone who'd be permanent for more than you know laughs <{><[>six months <[>yes yes so yeah <{><[>so i'd do it if they could find me someone like that <[>yes mm and not too little either say two two would be all right yeah they say they've got lots of babies mm little ones they quite often say that though <&>9:00 whenever i want older kids they have babies and if you <,> if you want babies they have older children <{><[>seems to be what happens <[>gosh <,,> and jane you know jane eh <{><[>she's looking for some <[>yeah i <{><[>know that was a bit er that was poor wasn't it <[>barnados yeah i'll say she hasn't got any yet she's been doing it for years that's right and then suddenly that's it i mean voc <{><[>tut <[>the same with me though you have to begin all over again with annabel and jennifer yeah have you met the new lady no mm is she nice oh yeah she seems to be all right but she's got no children of <.>hers <{1><[1>self you know usually they all have children <{2><[2>and then you really know what they're <{3><[3>like and that's the stages that they go <{4><[4>through <[1>oh yeah <[2>yeah <[3>like yeah that's right <[4>through yeah yeah <,,> but um tut i think that once <.>i i think i'll <&>10:00 probably give up in march mm she says that she really wants to keep me but i er tut i think that i can go for higher mm higher money otherwise er <.>i you know i really want someone petey's age i'm not going to work <.>for that's right gosh yes and how old is peter oh three and a half oh yeah mm gosh won't be long before he's at school laughs yeah one and a half years it's not long eh yes you <.>ca you <.>see you see i used to think oh i can't wait until mary was at school <{><[>can't WAIT <[>mm yeah but now that she went to school mm it was er i thought oh i'm really going to miss her tut it was quite sad <{><[>really sad <[>yeah gee but then it's the holidays coming up so i haven't lost her <{><[>yet laughs <&>11:00 <[>yes i know until next february <,> yet i wonder where they're going she's got a lovely garden she has hasn't she mm i didn't realise the first time i came here that she actually had any backyard the house just looks like it's perched on the side of the hill doesn't it mm but she's done really well looks really nice <,,><&>3 i didn't come to your house the other thursday cos i think mark had chickenpox but i don't know cos <.>his oh really he got blisters on his hands oh you should have showed me <{1><[1>you should have called in <{2><[2>anyway <[1><.>and <[2>no yeah <{1><[1>but that was the only place he got it just on his hands so <{2><[2>i don't know if it was that or not it was really weird <{3><[3>laughs <[1><.>because <[2>word <[3>how long did the spots last for um <{><[>er they're <.>g gone now they were just blisters and then they went to little dots <[>was it <.>just just oh probably not not if it was just on his <{><[>hands <[>hands oh he got <.>one one on his leg and one or two on his feet that's all <&>12:00 word i don't know what it was laughs mm whether it <.>was is or not someone said seeing i'm breastfeeding <.>it he may have got a real mild dose of it cos i was looking after a little boy who had chickenpox as well or not WHEN he had <{><[>chickenpox but before the spots came <.>so <[>yeah but once they have it that's it that's it yeah <{><[>that's right <[>so i'm quite pleased that's it's all <{><[>over and done with even though i haven't had much of a break <[>it's over yeah that's good mm because mary had to have a week off and peter had to have a week off oh <.>f and gee andrea only got a few on her yeah gee and i wanted to keep her home a few days you know cos she only had one day off oh really <.>and and then she had the weekend but she should have really been made to stay home monday and <{1><[1>tuesday because she was carrying it to other <{2><[2>children <[1>tuesday yes <[2>children that's right and er her parents says no you can't see them there's nothing wrong with her she can <&>13:00 still play and i tried to explain you know well you know she can still give it to someone that's right oh i think she'll be all right they said laughs so gee so i er i thought oh well and i told the teachers anyway yeah they were a bit shocked laughs gee voc <{><[>mm <[>what a funny lady mm <,,><&>5 have you been to see jane lately tut yeah oh i saw her <.>th <.>w <.>th i saw her last week yvonne moore i love this she made a wedding cake i went to have a look at her wedding cake <{><[>it was lovely <[>oh yeah oh yeah she's very good at that that yeah we did a er tut <{><[>an icing course <[>mm course together mm for a year yeah jane told me <{><[>word good <[>and it was great mm have you made any cakes and stuff or not <.>any oh no no i've done a few <&>14:00 mm <.>i've i've had a lot of people asking me to make er first one lady in paraparaumu she wanted me to make a three tier er wedding cake oh and then i thought my sister wants a three tier wedding cake mm all by march oh tut and er i had to turn it down you know <{><[><.>i've i've done a few cakes <[>yeah yeah gosh but er i thought no <.>i <.>unti with my piano lessons oh yeah i don't <{><[>i don't have much time <[>how are they going no tut well the teacher says well we're <.>n <.>all we're not good enough laughs OH word should have seen jason <.>she's jason says oh really gosh she mustn't be a good teacher yeah so we're going back next year oh is there a couple of <.>y of you doing it no there's probably about um yeah about ten oh and she teaches you all at the same time <&>15:00 yeah well what <.>sh yeah she does <{1><[1>we all have our own organ <{2><[2>and so we put our earphones on and she seems to pick on me all the time <{3><[3>laughs yeah <.>she she IS awful and i used to say <.>she used to stand right above <&>pronounced bove me <[1>oh <[2>oh <[3>oh is that right oh how awful mm right beside me and she used to look over my shoulder and i used to say look you're making me nervous mm you know leave me alone <{><[>laughs <[>yeah sniffs <{><[>dear <[>and then she'd have to say right pull out your earphones mm tut and we all play together oh no oh i used to really start sweating laughs i can play on my own but when there's people around me mm tut and it's quite good she <.>gave she gives us a sheet tut you know a sheet and <.>we we practise it at home oh yeah so it's quite good so then we can practise before playing it to everyone gee <&>16:00 but it <.>is it's quite good it's only an hour that's long enough laughs yeah it is so <,> it's really hard to find the time though mm you know <.>y last night <.>i i er i had a bit of spare time but i haven't played for about a month you should really play every day day <,,> i was going to get the kids a piano for christmas mm but they're not um my mate just bought one for about five hundred dollars and it just doesn't sound as nice as the organ oh yeah tut and i think you have to spend a bit more save up a bit more <{><[>to get a more expensive one <[>yeah oh gosh <,> have you got them their christmas presents <{><[>yet <[>mm yes i did they're not having much mm cos they <.>ha really have a lot tut <&>17:00 that's right my kids seem to get more and more and more laughs i know and all the family buys them stuff yeah that's <{><[>right yeah <[>and um and they get so much really they always get too much mm that's like ours as well <{><[><.>a <[>and it's like they're <.>a opening up presents all day <{1><[1>everybody's word round and then they get more tut i think you can just overdo it and i have overdone it every <{2><[2>christmas <[1>mm <.>s laughs <[2>mas yeah i <.>still i've given them heaps and heaps heaps yeah i still overdo i tried to cut down a bit this year but i <.>was they seem to have done all right still mm <{><[>mm <[>i suppose it will get easier later on i don't know get cheaper perhaps <{><[>laughs yeah laughs but <.>it's <[>yeah after christmas laughs word show after christmas i was looking in <.>some in just jeans for some jeans for myself cos my other ones have got a <{><[>big hole and then i suddenly <.>thought i said to darren oh i'm not going to look any <&>18:00 more they're going to have a sale the first week after christmas so i come back then <[>oh really it's a hassle yes <{><[>yes <[>mm so i'll wait for then mark hasn't got much this year for christmas i've just got him a couple of things and that's it mm mm and <.>josephina are you going to have christmas at home no in christchurch with my family but darren's going to be at home cos he's going to work <{><[>but me and the kids are going <.>to <[>oh right is he still at the library er no no he's um working at a nightclub now <.>doing oh right being a bouncer security or whatever <{><[>the <.>head head security guy so at <&>name of club have you heard of that <[>oh yes mm word word haven't been to it no i went once but <.>i i don't stay up very late any more <.>and he's working there and it's <.>so yeah oh it's not much fun there? oh not for me but lots of people go there and <&>19:00 they think it's really good but <.>i i'm not really good going out any more it gets to like <{><[>twelve oclock and i think to myself well i have to get up in the morning there's going to be kids bouncing on the bed wanting me to get up now and get their breakfasts and stuff so it's like <[>i know mm home time kathy even half past eleven or eleven oclock or whatever i word and i haven't been out for ages seeing i'm breastfeeding mark anyway so i think i'm quite happy staying at home most of <{><[>the time laughs <[>yes it's a big effort to go <{><[>out <[>go out that's right and find yourself something to wear and yes even trying to get ready with kids hanging off you and coming <{><[>and having a look and it's a pain in the neck <[>mm mm <,,><&>3 <{><[>when the kids were word <[>so he must work at er it must be awful working at night nights yeah he works <.>every er five nights a week although last week he worked six cos lots of um <{1><[1>offices are <&>20:00 having their work parties <{2><[2>and all that jazz <.>and <[1>but <.>then <[2>oh right you wouldn't need to get him any tea would you no i have to get him tea <{><[>laughs he goes after that <[>laughs oh that's <{><[>a real big effort after a day making dinner oh why what time does he go <[>that would be nice word though it is gee it is pam and shar are still are working at that time oh he goes about um eight o clock or half past seven yeah about half past seven <{><[>he goes starts at eight so but i agree with <.>y <[>oh right half past seven and what time does he finish oh it depends on which <&>pronounced as watch day it is like if it's tuesday night he'll come home about two or three cos <.>it's there's <{><[>not many people in there <.>at yeah <[>oh it's quiet yes so <.>a then on a friday and saturday it's more like um half past five he finishes so oh he gets home about six oh my goodness mm and then he sleeps during the day and gets woken up and laughs mm <&>21:00 and sleeps some more and just goes out and stuff <,,><&>4 mark's asleep tut gosh <{><[>isn't he good <[>that's a relief he's really tired he's satisfied now yeah laughs and he's really tired have you got the time no no i have not <,,> um well i'm feeling <.>b a bit better laughs laughs probably just sitting down eh having a rest yes <.>sh <,,> mm have you got a new car now <.>cos <{1><[1>cos there's often oh there's often another car parked up next to you <,> <{2><[2>in your drive <[1>no <[2>oh fourwheel drive yeah yeah that's my brother's oh is it we borrow that oh yeah oh <{><[>that's good then isn't it <[>yeah he just really wrecks her he drives in the sand with it oh all the time gee <&>21:56
