     Mogworte or moderwort is clepid arthemesia for \ at she is modir
     of alle oer herbes or for-i at e modir \ of herbes hauy ouyn her
     name. Diana, sikerly e \ which is clepid in greke tonge Arthemesis,

     clepid arthemesia \ of her fynders name.
     This herbe is specially medicinal to women \ syknesses. For water

     purgi women of her floures and bringe hem \ for fro hem. With

     matrice, and so shal ou clense women or her \ floures.
     Take e same herbe rawe, stampe it and drinke yt with \ wyn, and
     so he wole do e same. Take is herbe grene as \ she growi and
     stampe it and bynde here to e wombe, and she \ shal delyuere out e

  15 - For the moder. \
     Drink moderwort or make er-of a suffumigacon, and she dissolui \
     e hardnesse of e moder and e bolnynge of it.
     - For to pisse. \
     Drynke is herbe ofte with wyn, and she wole make e to pisse, \ and
     she wole destroie e ston.
     - For iawnes and boches.
     And us \ also she helpi hem at haven e jawnes. Stampe is

     leie \ it to e boche. Drinke is herbe with wyn, and us shalt ou

  25 Summe clerkes seyn at ho-so \ taste, at is to say ete or drinke

     Take nard of Fraunce and wermode, \ stampe hem to-gidre and

     The nettle is in greek y-clepid acaliphe. he is \ hugely hoote,
     and er-fore she is clepid vrtica in latin, for-so-michel as she \ wole

     Drink nettles, \ and so shalt ou hele e jawnes.
     - For e collica passioun.
   5 Ete and \ drinke nettle seed with hony, and it wole destroye e
     sikenesse at is \ clepid collica passio.
     - For e cough.
     Drinke ofte nettle sede, and hit wole \ hele e olde cough.

     and peper, and drink \ all is to-gidre in wyn. e fowre fotid best

     Drynk nettle seed medled with hony, and it wole hele e sikenes \

     - For brest and lunges.
     Hit heli e brest, it helpi e \ lunges. Drink it with mulsa, and
     hit wole make e to pisse.

     Seth in oile nettles and drink e decoccion, and hit wole make
     e \ laxatif. Take nettle sede and rolle it in i mouth clos, and hit
     wole \ alaye e bolnynges of at part of e mouth at is clepid vua.
     Frote \ wel a barein bestes cunte with nettle leuys or with e iuus of
   5 hit, and \ e beste shal conceyue.
     - For to swete.
     Oynte e wel with oyle at \ nettlis ben soden ynne, and it wole
     make e to swete. Take e iuus \ of nettle sede and anoynte er-with
     in hede, and it wole lette and represse \ e fluxe of e hede. Nettle
     sede shal be gadred in August and be \ dryed, and an shal it be

     hony, and hit \ wole hele houndes bytyng if ou wole oynte er_with 
     e bityng place. \
     - For wormes.
  15 e sauour of stampid garlyk dryue a-wey noyous \ wormes.
     Seth garlek in mulsa and put to hit a litle vynegre \ and drinke hit;
     is wole destroye e wormes in e wombe and e trenches.
     - For \ colde at is borst out.
     With e same cure ou myt hele e body \ at is broke out for
     colde.
     - For biting of venemous bestes.
     Seth gar\lyk pelys in oile, and at oile wole hele e bitynges of
  20 dedly and \ venemous bestis if e byting place be oyntyd with hit.

     Oynte i share with garlyk soden in mulsa and vinegre, \ and
     is wole destroie e swellyng and ache of e bladdere. e same \
     wole garlyk pelys do, if ye sethe hem in watir and ley hem in \ maner
