  <WSC#DPC305:0005:EQ>
      so tell me about your cottage garden

  <WSC#DPC305:0010:WG>
      <O>tut</O> well you see when we got there <.>the</.> the garden
      was various like the front part was <?>for</?> coastal didn't
      have hardly any plants in it except a very lonely erica

  <WSC#DPC305:0015:EQ>
      <O>laughs</O>

  <WSC#DPC305:0020:WG>
      so we sort of looked at that in despair and didn't do much and
      at the back there was a sort of beginnings of a herb garden
      which probably the ends of a herb garden actually cos there were
      old chives and a <.>v</.> very valiant sage and some other
      things <{><[>like</[>

  <WSC#DPC305:0025:EQ>
      <[>would</[></{> you like one of those <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0030:WG>
      parsley everywhere

  <WSC#DPC305:0035:WG>
      yeah

  <WSC#DPC305:0040:WG>
      so anyway that was all right and <.>we</.> we didn't do a lot
      last year we just sort of got into the house and <&>1:00</&>
      carried on working and then went overseas

  <WSC#DPC305:0045:WG>
      although i did do little <.>te</.> teensy bits um that of
      cuttings <{><[>that nan gave</[> me and um <,> anyway what's
      happened is that so <.>the</.> the little cottage gardeny bit
      which would only be you know three yards or something like that
      <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0050:EQ>
      <[><unclear>word</unclear></[></{>

  <WSC#DPC305:0055:EQ>
      mm <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0060:WG>
      is now looking really beautiful all <unclear>word</unclear> you
      know blue and pale purple and pink and white <{><[><?>scattered</?>
      <unclear>word</unclear> <?>young</?></[>

  <WSC#DPC305:0065:EQ>
      <[>mm lovely

  <WSC#DPC305:0070:EQ>
      so what are</[></{> they what have you got

  <WSC#DPC305:0075:WG>
      well i've got delphiniums <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0080:EQ>
      mhm <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0085:WG>
      and i've got a <{><[>lovely lovely thing</[> called feverfew
      beautiful <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0090:EQ>
      <[><?>lovely at this time of year</?></[></{>

  <WSC#DPC305:0095:EQ>
      <unclear>word</unclear> <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0100:WG>
      and <.>forgetme</.> <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0105:EQ>
      feverFEW <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0110:WG>
      it's like a little teensy weensy

  <WSC#DPC305:0115:WG>
      um it's about that big

  <WSC#DPC305:0120:WG>
      it's like a teensy weensy little chrysanthemum

  <WSC#DPC305:0125:WG>
      divine

  <WSC#DPC305:0130:EQ>
      mm

  <WSC#DPC305:0135:WG>
      so and then i've got um <O>tut</O> oh just all my scrummiest
      oldfashionedy plants in there

  <WSC#DPC305:0140:WG>
      but then we came to a <slowly>green plastic compost thing</slowly>

  <WSC#DPC305:0145:EQ>
      <?>oh</?>

  <WSC#DPC305:0150:WG>
      and three pieces of wood which someone had put up

  <WSC#DPC305:0155:WG>
      <{1><[1>god knows why</[1> can't <.>t</.> work out why

  <WSC#DPC305:0160:WG>
      and <.>a</.> a kind of bit of corrugated iron which must have
      been there to stop something

  <WSC#DPC305:0165:WG>
      so matthew heaved and <O>voc</O> <.>sho</.> cos i <?>was looking
      at that</?>

  <WSC#DPC305:0170:WG>
      look this is ridiculous we've got this bit we could have more
      garden here

  <WSC#DPC305:0175:WG>
      that looked really very pretty <{2><[2><?>comes down</?></[2>
      through the squidgy part it takes it up to the top of york bay

  <WSC#DPC305:0180:WG>
      so <.>he</.> he even did that this morning

  <WSC#DPC305:0185:WG>
      and behind there i've just got little pansies and stuff that i
      already had

  <WSC#DPC305:0190:WG>
      planted out some of the um <O>tut</O> forgetmenots and then we'd
      gone to the garden centre in eastbourne and we bought two
      BEAUtiful trees that have got yummy pinky funny squiggly hang
      down things on them

  <WSC#DPC305:0195:WG>
      <slowly>and two others one's called a</slowly> sweet pea tree

  <WSC#DPC305:0200:WG>
      <{3><[3><O>tut</O> and it's</[3> gorgeous and grows grows
      quickly <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0205:EQ>
      <[1><O>laughs</O></[1></{1> <&>2:00</&>

  <WSC#DPC305:0210:EQ>
      <[2>yes mm mm</[2></{2>

  <WSC#DPC305:0215:EQ>
      <[3>oh</[3></{3>

  <WSC#DPC305:0220:EQ>
      oh <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0225:WG>
      and the other is called <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0230:EQ>
      i love <{><[>sweet peas</[>

  <WSC#DPC305:0235:WG>
      <[>a mexican</[></{> orange blossom <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0240:EQ>
      oh and is that a tree too

  <WSC#DPC305:0245:WG>
      yeah

  <WSC#DPC305:0250:WG>
      and they fast grow so <.>th</.> this cottage garden that looked
      like a compost heap with <O>voc</O> <O>voc</O> <O>voc</O> wood
      wood wood wood this <&>3:00</&> morning is <with dramatic voice>transformed
      now</with dramatic voice> <{1><[1><O>laughs</O></[1>

  <WSC#DPC305:0255:WG>
      <laughs>i feel so good about it</laughs> <{2><[2><O>laughs</O></[2>

  <WSC#DPC305:0260:EQ>
      <[1><O>laughs</O>

  <WSC#DPC305:0265:EQ>
      <laughs>how neat</laughs></[1></{1>

  <WSC#DPC305:0270:EQ>
      <[2>oh that's great

  <WSC#DPC305:0275:EQ>
      were</[2></{2> those trees expensive

  <WSC#DPC305:0280:WG>
      nine dollars for the <?>bougainvilleas</?> which are those those
      squiggly ones <{1><[1>they've got the yeah</[1>

  <WSC#DPC305:0285:WG>
      they were reduced i don't know why but they're very hardy trees
      and they grow quite quickly

  <WSC#DPC305:0290:WG>
      the japonicas are about thirteen or <.>s</.> not japonica the
      sweet pea tree something like about thirteen

  <WSC#DPC305:0295:WG>
      they're <.>no</.> no dearer than actually a lot of cottage
      plants

  <WSC#DPC305:0300:WG>
      actually flowers

  <WSC#DPC305:0305:WG>
      don't know why

  <WSC#DPC305:0310:WG>
      <{2><[2>we <.>were</.></[2>

  <WSC#DPC305:0315:EQ>
      <[1>mm mm</[1></{1>

  <WSC#DPC305:0320:EQ>
      <[2>oh that's</[2></{2> fantastic <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0325:WG>
      delighted really <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0330:EQ>
      <.>liz</.> liz pilkington used to RUN that little er

  <WSC#DPC305:0335:EQ>
      <.>d</.> do <.>you</.> you probably don't remember it was up the
      top of <,> cuba street i think RIGHT up the top of cuba street

  <WSC#DPC305:0340:EQ>
      it was this little thing called called small gardens

  <WSC#DPC305:0345:WG>
      no <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0350:EQ>
      and it was a like a little garden centre for small gardens

  <WSC#DPC305:0355:EQ>
      and <.>she</.> and she ran that for quite a few years

  <WSC#DPC305:0360:EQ>
      i don't think <O>voc</O> <{><[><unclear>word</unclear></[>

  <WSC#DPC305:0365:WG>
      <[>was i</[></{> here then

  <WSC#DPC305:0370:WG>
      probably not

  <WSC#DPC305:0375:EQ>
      you might have been

  <WSC#DPC305:0380:EQ>
      it was before i went to the arts council <{><[>and</[> before
      she went to the arts council <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0385:WG>
      <[><.>oh</.></[></{>

  <WSC#DPC305:0390:WG>
      right

  <WSC#DPC305:0395:EQ>
      and so she had this <.>li</.>

  <WSC#DPC305:0400:EQ>
      that's what she was she ran a garden centre

  <WSC#DPC305:0405:EQ>
      so if you <{><[>ever talk to her</[> about plants and things
      like that she is <&>4:00</&> SO knowledgeable <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0410:??>
      <[><unclear>word</unclear></[></{>

  <WSC#DPC305:0415:WG>
      isn't that neat <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0420:EQ>
      she's really amazing

  <WSC#DPC305:0425:EQ>
      but it was such a neat thing to do it was <.>so</.> sort of in
      the city she had this little thing <{><[><unclear>word</unclear>
      <?>for things</?></[>

  <WSC#DPC305:0430:WG>
      <[>cos people don't have</[></{> big gardens <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0435:EQ>
      for things

  <WSC#DPC305:0440:EQ>
      <{><[>for people</[> who <.>sold</.> who needed stuff for small
      gardens it was it was great yeah <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0445:WG>
      <[>mm</[></{>

  <WSC#DPC305:0450:WG>
      oh <{><[><unclear>word</unclear></[>

  <WSC#DPC305:0455:EQ>
      <[>so she</[></{> knows a lot about plants

  <WSC#DPC305:0460:EQ>
      i know <.>th</.> i mean i just don't <.>l</.> don't remember the
      names of anything like oh we went on this bushwalk last weekend
      <.>and</.> and we were with mary darwin's sister who's a
      botanist or something <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0465:WG>
      mm <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0470:EQ>
      and she kept <.>s</.> explaining things and it was so good
      <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0475:WG>
      it's <{><[>great</[>

  <WSC#DPC305:0480:EQ>
      <[><?>but</?></[></{> i mean i was just so ignorant i don't know
      the names of anything

  <WSC#DPC305:0485:EQ>
      i <{><[>know the names</[> of the most basic things <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0490:WG>
      <[><unclear>word</unclear></[></{>

  <WSC#DPC305:0495:WG>
      well see nan of course did all that

  <WSC#DPC305:0500:WG>
      she was a botanist

  <WSC#DPC305:0505:WG>
      and she knows <.>ab</.> <{><[>she <?>does these long</?></[>

  <WSC#DPC305:0510:EQ>
      <[>oh was she was she</[></{> a botanist <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0515:WG>
      yeah she was one of the first people to get an m a or something
      in new zealand <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0520:EQ>
      oh really <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0525:WG>
      i <?>don't</?> know <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0530:EQ>
      oh good <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0535:WG>
      so she <.>said</.> she <.>jus</.> they all roll off her tongue
      and i think i'll remember that <O>laughs</O>

  <WSC#DPC305:0540:WG>
      but if it's got a name like heart's ease i mean what a name
      <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0545:EQ>
      yeah <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0550:WG>
      HEART'S ease or FEVERfew <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0555:EQ>
      mm <{><[>feverfew's lovely</[>

  <WSC#DPC305:0560:WG>
      <[>i <?>remember that</?></[></{> beautiful eh <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0565:EQ>
      so it <.>must</.> do you think it probably had a medicinal
      purpose <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0570:WG>
      i think they did

  <WSC#DPC305:0575:WG>
      in fact i do know that they did because i then looked in the
      herb garden at the um <O>tut</O> <&>5:00</&>

  <WSC#DPC305:0580:EQ>
      botanical gardens <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0585:WG>
      <.>b</.> yeah <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0590:EQ>
      mm

  <WSC#DPC305:0595:WG>
      there was feverfew

  <WSC#DPC305:0600:WG>
      oh they're <.>lo</.>

  <WSC#DPC305:0605:WG>
      and so little heart's ease like the teensy weensy pansies with
      the little wee <{><[>faces</[>

  <WSC#DPC305:0610:WG>
      women's colours they are

  <WSC#DPC305:0615:EQ>
      <[>mm</[></{>

  <WSC#DPC305:0620:EQ>
      purple <{><[>and pink and yellow oh and</[> yellow <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0625:WG>
      <[>purple and yellow <.>no</.> no yeah</[></{>

  <WSC#DPC305:0630:WG>
      but no white on them actually <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0635:EQ>
      mm <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0640:WG>
      but tell me about jason <O>tut</O>

  <WSC#DPC305:0645:WG>
      oh i <?>was thinking</?> <{><[><unclear>word</unclear> <?>about
      him</[> just as</?> i came up here

  <WSC#DPC305:0650:EQ>
      <[>mm <?>oh god</?></[></{>

  <WSC#DPC305:0655:EQ>
      <O>voc</O> mm he's not good

  <WSC#DPC305:0660:EQ>
      he's had a bone scan this week <O>tut</O>

  <WSC#DPC305:0665:EQ>
      um cos he went back to his urologist i think about wednesday
      <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0670:WG>
      right <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0675:EQ>
      and explained he'd been having this <.>swolle</.>

  <WSC#DPC305:0680:EQ>
      cos he's been having this <.>le</.> his leg's been swollen his
      right leg's <{><[>really swollen and</[> they said that was a
      lymphodema

  <WSC#DPC305:0685:EQ>
      and then then there all this pain into his buttocks so he was on
      four hourly <&>pronounced as lourly</&> panadol in a LOT of pain

  <WSC#DPC305:0690:EQ>
      like sounds like sciatica <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0695:WG>
      <[><?>you told me that</?></[></{>

  <WSC#DPC305:0700:WG>
      yes it does sound like that <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0705:EQ>
      but i mean like something's pressing on something it <{1><[1>doesn't
      i don't like the</[1> sound of it at all

  <WSC#DPC305:0710:EQ>
      and he keeps saying things like oh i hurt that leg when i fell a
      few months ago or you know or <{2><[2><unclear>word</unclear>
      when his ankle</[2> was all swollen up he said i'm sure it's the
      way i get in and out of the <{3><[3>car</[3>

  <WSC#DPC305:0715:WG>
      <[1><?>oh</?></[1></{1>

  <WSC#DPC305:0720:WG>
      <[2><?>but you know you you feel it's not that</?></[2></{2>

  <WSC#DPC305:0725:WG>
      <[3>yeah he</[3></{3> said that to me

  <WSC#DPC305:0730:WG>
      i <{><[>remember that <unclear>word</unclear> <?>i know</?></[>

  <WSC#DPC305:0735:EQ>
      <[>and i thought oh spare me you know</[></{> i mean <&>6:00</&>
      it's <{1><[1>like</[1> this is <.>w</.> fluid and it came and
      went you know

  <WSC#DPC305:0740:EQ>
      <{2><[2>i mean</[2> no sprain ever comes and goes like that
      <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0745:WG>
      <[1><O>tut</O></[1></{1>

  <WSC#DPC305:0750:WG>
      <[2>mm</[2></{2>

  <WSC#DPC305:0755:WG>
      no

  <WSC#DPC305:0760:EQ>
      so anyway <O>voc</O> meg's gone away for the weekend

  <WSC#DPC305:0765:EQ>
      she's gone up to auckland with her son <O>voc</O>

  <WSC#DPC305:0770:EQ>
      and so i knew he'd be sort of a bit washed up <?>on his own</?>

  <WSC#DPC305:0775:EQ>
      i said come and have a meal with us over the weekend you know
      come on sunday and

  <WSC#DPC305:0780:EQ>
      and i was going to drop in today anyway

  <WSC#DPC305:0785:EQ>
      and er he rang me this morning i was still in bed and said oh i
      don't think i'll come to you tomorrow i don't think i can get up
      your path my <{1><[1>leg's <.>really</.>

  <WSC#DPC305:0790:EQ>
      i mean i mean he was</[1> basically wanting to ring up and say
      to someone how painful his leg was

  <WSC#DPC305:0795:EQ>
      and he was really in pain and um

  <WSC#DPC305:0800:EQ>
      but he had this <.>b</.> he went back to his urologist and <.>about</.>

  <WSC#DPC305:0805:EQ>
      cos he's still got his catheter in you see he's <{2><[2>still
      got a catheter and a bag strapped to his leg and i think that's
      permanent</[2>

  <WSC#DPC305:0810:EQ>
      i don't think he <.>c</.> his <.>fler</.> <.>flu</.>

  <WSC#DPC305:0815:EQ>
      he's got no control at all there he's not ever going to get rid
      of that <O>inhales</O>

  <WSC#DPC305:0820:EQ>
      and <.>the</.> and he explained all this stuff about the sore
      buttock and the swollen things and everything to his urologist
      who then said right a bone scan and a blood test and so he's HAD
      those

  <WSC#DPC305:0825:WG>
      <[1><O>tut</O> <?>poor guy</?></[1></{1>

  <WSC#DPC305:0830:WG>
      <[2><quietly><unclear>word</unclear></quietly></[2></{2>

  <WSC#DPC305:0835:WG>
      what last week something <&>7:00</&>

  <WSC#DPC305:0840:EQ>
      he had them yes

  <WSC#DPC305:0845:EQ>
      he had the bone scan on thursday i think and the blood test on
      wednesday and he's going back to his urologist on wednesday to
      get the results of all this so god knows what we'll find out
      then <O>tut</O>

  <WSC#DPC305:0850:WG>
      so <.>wha</.> <{><[>if he's not going</[> to come to dinner
      tomorrow <?>or for <.>me</.></?> <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0855:EQ>
      <[><O>inhales</O></[></{>

  <WSC#DPC305:0860:EQ>
      well <.>i</.> i'll drop him in something i <.>d</.>

  <WSC#DPC305:0865:EQ>
      and so today we <.>wen</.> we tried to go to the pool today i
      <.>tri</.>

  <WSC#DPC305:0870:EQ>
      i want to go to aqua fitness at eleven <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0875:WG>
      oh good on you <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0880:EQ>
      well i wanted to go to aqua fitness at eleven

  <WSC#DPC305:0885:EQ>
      so we gathered up susie and everybody in their togs and we tear
      over there <.>just</.> get there about three minutes before the
      class is supposed to start and the pool is all closed for some
      other <.>spe</.>

  <WSC#DPC305:0890:EQ>
      you know they're not <{><[>no <.>aqua</.> aqua fitness is
      cancelled</[> some sporting thing <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0895:WG>
      <[>oh a <?>sport</?> <unclear>word</unclear> thing</[></{>

  <WSC#DPC305:0900:WG>
      oh <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0905:EQ>
      and i <.>th</.> so i thought oh god i thought you know after
      we'd <.>s</.> <.>go</.> spent half an hour getting there

  <WSC#DPC305:0910:EQ>
      so then i said let's go to freyberg

  <WSC#DPC305:0915:EQ>
      so then we get i don't want to go <.>to</.>

  <WSC#DPC305:0920:EQ>
      annie didn't want to go to freyberg and the other two DID and
      you know <.>w</.>

  <WSC#DPC305:0925:EQ>
      so i said we're going to freyberg we've got this far

  <WSC#DPC305:0930:EQ>
      <{1><[1>so we</[1> get round to freyberg

  <WSC#DPC305:0935:EQ>
      it's lane swimming only which is no good for the little kids <O>tut</O>

  <WSC#DPC305:0940:EQ>
      so i thought <,> oh god this really isn't working out at all and
      actually it was rather sort of <{2><[2>muggy and hot to be
      driving round wellington with a car full of children</[2>

  <WSC#DPC305:0945:WG>
      <[1>right</[1></{1>

  <WSC#DPC305:0950:WG>
      <[2><O>laughs</O> i mean <?>only car</?> <unclear>word</unclear>
      <?>car</?></[2></{2> i know

  <WSC#DPC305:0955:EQ>
      so then <{1><[1>i said oh well</[1> we'll go and we'll go to um
      the karori pool

  <WSC#DPC305:0960:EQ>
      what the hell <{2><[2>we'll go to the karori pool</[2> and we'll
      just swim there <.>wh</.>

  <WSC#DPC305:0965:EQ>
      well we could have done that in the first place except that i
      couldn't have done my class and <{3><[3>the</[3> <.>w</.>

  <WSC#DPC305:0970:EQ>
      and it's not quite as <.>w</.> good as those bigger pools

  <WSC#DPC305:0975:EQ>
      so on the way to the karori pool we stopped in and saw jason and
      <.>i</.> and annie was saying i don't want to go in will you
      drop me home and i said why don't you stay with jason <{4><[4>and</[4>
      make him some lunch <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:0980:WG>
      <[1>you've got to <?>deal</?> <unclear>word</unclear></[1></{1>
      <&>8:00</&>

  <WSC#DPC305:0985:WG>
      <[2>mm mm</[2></{2>

  <WSC#DPC305:0990:WG>
      <[3>no</[3></{3>

  <WSC#DPC305:0995:WG>
      <[4>mm</[4></{4>

  <WSC#DPC305:1000:WG>
      mm <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1005:EQ>
      so we went in and visited him

  <WSC#DPC305:1010:EQ>
      and i said annie'll stay with you and make you some lunch

  <WSC#DPC305:1015:EQ>
      and she gets on <.>quite</.> and she chats away with jason and
      they have quite a nice <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1020:WG>
      she's very good with <{><[>adults isn't she</[>

  <WSC#DPC305:1025:EQ>
      <[>yes she is</[></{> <.>she's</.>

  <WSC#DPC305:1030:EQ>
      well she's good with him too i don't know they sort of get along
      <{1><[1>nicely</[1> and

  <WSC#DPC305:1035:EQ>
      um better than the other two do really

  <WSC#DPC305:1040:EQ>
      <{2><[2>you know</[2> she sort of somehow gets it right with him
      and he seems to make an effort too

  <WSC#DPC305:1045:EQ>
      so she stayed with him for an hour we <.>went</.>

  <WSC#DPC305:1050:EQ>
      the other two and i went and swam at the pool

  <WSC#DPC305:1055:EQ>
      andrea did SEVEN lengths <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1060:WG>
      <[1>mm</[1></{1>

  <WSC#DPC305:1065:WG>
      <[2>mm</[2></{2>

  <WSC#DPC305:1070:WG>
      goodness me <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1075:EQ>
      with a little breaks in between

  <WSC#DPC305:1080:EQ>
      but she's never swum a length of that pool before <{><[>and she
      just suddenly discovered</[> she could swim a length

  <WSC#DPC305:1085:EQ>
      <laughs>and got so keen she didn't want to stop she said i'll
      just do another one and then i'll do another one</laughs>
      <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1090:WG>
      <[><?>that's so good</?></[></{>

  <WSC#DPC305:1095:WG>
      that's terrific <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1100:EQ>
      so that was <?>fun so</?> she looked like a

  <WSC#DPC305:1105:EQ>
      <laughs><.>s</.> liz was there</laughs> <&>9:00</&> with her
      friend john and he said <{1><[1>she</[1> looked like a goldfish
      you <{2><[2><laughs>know <.>s</.> <?>there's</?>

  <WSC#DPC305:1110:EQ>
      a little head <unclear>word</unclear> <.>a</.></[2> a <?>roll</?>
      in the water</laughs> <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1115:WG>
      <[1>mm</[1></{1>

  <WSC#DPC305:1120:WG>
      <[2><O>laughs</O> <?>he'd find out when <.>we</.></?>

  <WSC#DPC305:1125:WG>
      yeah</[2></{2> <laughs>oh</laughs> <latch> <laughs>and legs sort
      of sagging in the water <.>o</.> and breaststroking away

  <WSC#DPC305:1130:EQ>
      <{><[><?>you know</?></laughs></[>

  <WSC#DPC305:1135:EQ>
      but she was obviously really sort of getting a kick out of the
      achievements <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1140:WG>
      <[>good on her</[></{>

  <WSC#DPC305:1145:WG>
      <?>that's so good</?> <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1150:EQ>
      so annie stayed there and made jason some lunch and then we went
      back afterwards

  <WSC#DPC305:1155:EQ>
      so i mean he's sort of all right he's pottering around but <.>he's</.>
      he's walking with a stick <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1160:WG>
      <O>tut</O> <O>tut</O> <O>tut</O> <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1165:EQ>
      cos it's REALLY hurting him

  <WSC#DPC305:1170:EQ>
      <{><[>and he's taking <.>four</.></[>

  <WSC#DPC305:1175:WG>
      <[>how old is he now eighty</[></{> something <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1180:EQ>
      eighty two <O>tut</O>

  <WSC#DPC305:1185:EQ>
      he's taking four hourly panadols <O>tut</O> <O>inhales</O> <O>exhales</O>
      <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1190:WG>
      so what's the story <{><[>do they say on</[> wednesday <.>which</.>

  <WSC#DPC305:1195:WG>
      you know

  <WSC#DPC305:1200:WG>
      that it could be in the lymph glands and it might spread further
      <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1205:EQ>
      <[><quietly><?>oh i don't know</?></quietly></[></{>

  <WSC#DPC305:1210:EQ>
      who knows

  <WSC#DPC305:1215:EQ>
      but i mean <.>some</.> <.>ly</.> yeah

  <WSC#DPC305:1220:EQ>
      well i don't know <.>what</.> i have no idea what they'll come
      up with on <{><[>wednesday</[> but i mean i would SAY all of
      this is related to the <?>prostatic</?> cancer <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1225:WG>
      <[>oh no</[></{>

  <WSC#DPC305:1230:WG>
      <?>oh no</?> <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1235:EQ>
      and um

  <WSC#DPC305:1240:WG>
      is he in all right spirits really

  <WSC#DPC305:1245:WG>
      like is <.>h</.> <{><[>you know how <.>he</.></[>

  <WSC#DPC305:1250:EQ>
      <[>yes he's a</[></{> very stoical person he's a very
      philosophical person <{><[>about</[> um <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1255:WG>
      <[>yeah</[></{>

  <WSC#DPC305:1260:WG>
      what pain or death or what just the whole <&>10:00</&>

  <WSC#DPC305:1265:EQ>
      everything really <O>tut</O>

  <WSC#DPC305:1270:EQ>
      i mean <.>he</.> he's i think he felt pat wasn't stoical enough

  <WSC#DPC305:1275:WG>
      well she didn't strike me as a wimp

  <WSC#DPC305:1280:EQ>
      <O>tut</O>

  <WSC#DPC305:1285:EQ>
      oh she was never a wimp <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1290:WG>
      god <?>love us</?> <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1295:EQ>
      but she was really um aggrieved <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1300:WG>
      mhm <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1305:EQ>
      about what had happened to her

  <WSC#DPC305:1310:EQ>
      <.>sh</.> i think she felt it's not fair why me

  <WSC#DPC305:1315:EQ>
      you know like i've i've lived a sort of good life and done all
      the right things <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1320:WG>
      oh when she got cancer <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1325:EQ>
      when she got <{><[>cancer</[> and how <.>c</.> how <.>ca</.> it
      doesn't seem FAIR that i have got cancer

  <WSC#DPC305:1330:EQ>
      and then and also i think when they did that massive surgery on
      her

  <WSC#DPC305:1335:EQ>
      she was <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1340:WG>
      <[>yeah</[></{>

  <WSC#DPC305:1345:WG>
      poor thing <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1350:EQ>
      she was not accepting you know <.>th</.>

  <WSC#DPC305:1355:EQ>
      whereas jason's a more accepting sort of <{><[>person</[> it's
      just the kind of person he is <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1360:WG>
      <[>yeah</[></{>

  <WSC#DPC305:1365:WG>
      yeah <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1370:EQ>
      that he's tends to just sort of think well this is what life has
      dished out to you <{><[>and <?>and</?></[> and you just get on
      with it <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1375:WG>
      <[>yes</[></{>

  <WSC#DPC305:1380:WG>
      yeah

  <WSC#DPC305:1385:EQ>
      um <,,> and he <.>g</.> and he <.>f</.> he felt her i think that
      she she <.>d</.> wasn't accepting enough with her <.>situ</.>
      you know of what was going on <{><[><unclear>word</unclear></[>

  <WSC#DPC305:1390:WG>
      <[>but he supported her emotionally</[></{> <.>at</.> through
      that time <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1395:EQ>
      <O>voc</O> <.>not</.> <.>not</.>

  <WSC#DPC305:1400:EQ>
      i think he <.>w</.> didn't really understand <&>11:00</&>

  <WSC#DPC305:1405:WG>
      i know <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1410:EQ>
      how much it was hurting her

  <WSC#DPC305:1415:EQ>
      <{><[>yeah and</[> um i mean i can remember when she first had
      that colostomy and she didn't want anyone to know

  <WSC#DPC305:1420:WG>
      <[><?>that's awful</?></[></{>

  <WSC#DPC305:1425:WG>
      i remember when you told me <{><[><unclear>word</unclear></[>

  <WSC#DPC305:1430:EQ>
      <[>and he</[></{> told some friend of hers that she <.>wasn</.>
      wasn't even a parTICularly close friend and <.>he</.> she was
      just like furious with him to kill him

  <WSC#DPC305:1435:WG>
      and mortified herself <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1440:EQ>
      mortified

  <WSC#DPC305:1445:EQ>
      and <{><[>so she was <.>so</.></[> she's a <.>w</.> you know
      well she's a very <.>s</.> fastidious and private woman <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1450:WG>
      <[>poor <?>thing</?></[></{>

  <WSC#DPC305:1455:WG>
      yeah <latch>

  <WSC#DPC305:1460:EQ>
      and <.>it</.> it's appalled her what they'd done to her

  <WSC#DPC305:1465:EQ>
      appalled her <&>11:27</&>
</I>
