      good evening

  <WSC#MSW055:0010:PM>
      in a word sunday has been cold

  <WSC#MSW055:0015:PM>
      we had a frosty morning a cold southerly all day and some very
      cool favourite towns

  <WSC#MSW055:0020:PM>
      ten degrees in the bay cities

  <WSC#MSW055:0025:PM>
      we had ten degrees in wellington nine in masterton twelve for
      new <&>24:00</&> plymouth

  <WSC#MSW055:0030:PM>
      down on the west coast this was fine day number four

  <WSC#MSW055:0035:PM>
      hokitika reached eleven degrees but in the east it was rather
      cold with eight degrees in kaikoura and a high of only seven for
      christchurch

  <WSC#MSW055:0040:PM>
      onto our sky check and today we had more sunshine over the
      western skies

  <WSC#MSW055:0045:PM>
      there was more shower cloud moving up the east coast but a flat
      cloud harmless cloud over the tasman sea and there's nothing
      nasty on the way so the picture remains unchanged

  <WSC#MSW055:0050:PM>
      that big high will still be stationed out there tomorrow

  <WSC#MSW055:0055:PM>
      quite an intense one too with a central pressure of around a
      thousand forty hectapascals

  <WSC#MSW055:0060:PM>
      that will keep the sunshine rolling into the west

  <WSC#MSW055:0065:PM>
      that southerly breeze will keep that cloud moving up the east
      coast and the outcome is all fairly predictable

  <WSC#MSW055:0070:PM>
      it'll be frosty tonight with more showers tomorrow morning
      between gisborne and wellington a few also getting into the high
      country

  <WSC#MSW055:0075:PM>
      sunshine though will bathe the west and the north and of course
      that southerly breeze will still be operating

  <WSC#MSW055:0080:PM>
      the only changes in the afternoon showers will ease back south
      of the mahia peninsula and it will stay cool

  <WSC#MSW055:0085:PM>
      the range of temperatures for the north island is nine to
      <&>25:00</&> fifteen

  <WSC#MSW055:0090:PM>
      heading south the scenario is much the same

  <WSC#MSW055:0095:PM>
      keep warm tonight because a frost is on the way but a beautiful
      clear morning follows for most parts of the island except on the
      eastern and southern coastal fringes where once again that
      southerly breeze will bring in a few showers but the afternoon
      is looking great

  <WSC#MSW055:0100:PM>
      eastern areas will clear up

  <WSC#MSW055:0105:PM>
      that southerly will ease back but the south coast will still
      catch a few of those remaining showers

  <WSC#MSW055:0110:PM>
      temperatures stay down

  <WSC#MSW055:0115:PM>
      the range in the south is eight to thirteen

  <WSC#MSW055:0120:PM>
      time to check monday and the main centres

  <WSC#MSW055:0125:PM>
      auckland fine and cool with a southerly breeze and a high of
      fourteen

  <WSC#MSW055:0130:PM>
      same conditions for hamilton frosty and clear then up to
      thirteen

  <WSC#MSW055:0135:PM>
      those showers finally retreat from the bay cities

  <WSC#MSW055:0140:PM>
      the sunshine returned

  <WSC#MSW055:0145:PM>
      your high twelve

  <WSC#MSW055:0150:PM>
      wellington also clears up

  <WSC#MSW055:0155:PM>
      the southerly fades out but it stays rather cold

  <WSC#MSW055:0160:PM>
      christchurch a little damp early on then fine and cold with a
      high of nine

  <WSC#MSW055:0165:PM>
      showers and southerly both clear dunedin too but again it'll be
      nippy with no more than eight <O>tut</O>

  <WSC#MSW055:0170:PM>
      further into the week north island is looking quite reasonable
      er from tuesday onwards

  <WSC#MSW055:0175:PM>
      mostly fine tuesday <&>26:00</&> wednesday but towards the end
      of the week there'll be a few showers in the west but in the
      south not quite so bright

  <WSC#MSW055:0180:PM>
      showers in the east on tuesday the south wednesday thursday but
      things should come right by friday and that's goodnight from me
      <&>26:08</&>
